The next NYSC registration date is 4th – 9th November 2025 for Batch C stream 1.

When do the NYSC batches go to camp?

      Good evening Amara. If you do revalidation, NYSC can either repost you to the same state or give you a different one. It’s not fixed, it depends on NYSC’s system and available slots at the time of revalidation.

      If you’re interested in getting posted to a particular state, you should consider doing direct posting. Local Man is at your service if you need that.

    BREAKING NEWS:
    The Federal Government has made thesis submission mandatory for NYSC corps members.

    Beginning October 6, 2025, NERD compliance will be required for NYSC mobilization. Graduates must upload their completed thesis or project as proof of academic output.

    This means that before you can serve as a corps member, you must prove that you carried out an academic research work and submit it online for record keeping.

          There are a lot of graduates that enroll for NYSC in every batch but the resources to accommodate them at once is limited. Hence, the reason why some PCMs register without getting deployed to camp with that batch. There is the possibility of that happening to you so brace up for it.

      Since you were sent out of camp because of a name error, you’ll need to wait for Batch C and revalidate once the portal opens. But before then, visit your school student’s affairs office to correct the name issue on your dashboard so it won’t repeat itself when you return for camp.

      When applying for relocation on health ground, note that it will not submit if you’re requesting either Abuja or Lagos, your state of origin or state of institution. You also cannot apply for relocation using this medium of you studied medical courses. Your friend obviously ticked one or more of the above.

      NYSC works with the name your school sent on the senate list. If it’s different from what you have on your certificate, you’ll need to contact your Student Affairs Officer to rectify it.

      If the name error is on your NIN, even though it MIGHT not after your NYSC registration, you should consider correcting it with NIMC.

      No need to worry. NYSC doesn’t always give reasons why some people don’t get call-up numbers with a particular batch. Since you haven’t received yours yet, it simply means you have shifted to the next batch. As long as your payment was successful, you’ll get your call-up number and letter at the appropriate time.

      The upload is meant to come before submission. Once you’ve submitted your application for relocation, you cannot submit again. Since you did it the other way round, just hope they will consider your application.

    I registered for NYSC with batch B, however batch B stream 2 has gone to camp and I’m yet to receive a call-up number even and it’s still showing batch B on my dashboard., I was expecting to see it updated to batch C if at all I’ve been moved to the next batch. Is this normal?

      Yes, it’s normal. Not everyone gets their call-up number immediately after registration. If you weren’t deployed with Batch B2, your dashboard won’t automatically update to “Batch C” yet. Once the portal for Batch C registration and revalidation opens, your status will reflect accordingly. Until then, there’s nothing to worry about. Just be patient for NYSC to release further instructions.

    Type here..Good evening sir, please how can I check to know if am mobilised in the nysc senate list , secondly my credentials (primary certificate, declaration of age and indigene form) has three names of which i changed one of the name completely to a different one leaving the other two in my jamb ,NIN, Waec and tertiary institution and I do affidavit for the changes and published it .I hope it’s OK, then lastly, what if my NIN didn’t captured any phone number, is there any implications?

    Hi local man, I’m a foreign graduate living abroad. I want to come back and serve, I already registered when the person opened this morning but I didn’t do physical verification. I plan to come back at the end of November, will it be possible to do physical verification and be considered for batch C stream II in December? Will batch C stream II even be in December?

      There is always a physical verification for foreign graduates during every registration exercise. The next one will most likely be November, before Batch C Stream 1. There will be no other batch after that this year.

      Good evening Nasir. You don’t need to revalidate. Since you already got a call-up number, NYSC will automatically push you to the next batch and release your call-up letter when they’re ready. Just keep checking your dashboard once Batch C call-up letters start dropping.

After listening to your voice note regarding NERD compliance for NYSC mobilization, I understood you very well, but the question is does it affect those that have been mobilize and seen their names on senate list before this new policy ?       Your name on senate list doesn’t mean you’ve been mobilized. You haven’t even done online registration. The memo was clear: those not mobilized before October 6 will need to upload their thesis with NERD.

      Nothing is wrong with your registration. Since your payment is displaying as successful, your call-up number and letter will come whenever NYSC decides to release them. There’s no fixed timing for everyone, so just be patient.

      Yes, you’ll be able to revalidate for NYSC Batch C Stream 1. Once the NYSC portal opens for registration, just log in with your details and you’ll be automatically revalidated. NYSC will decide whether to deploy you immediately with that batch or later.

    I was deployed to Lagos with this batch B2. Unfortunately, I couldn’t register because I had discrepancies in my date of graduation.

    Currently, I’m waiting for my school to resend my name with the upcoming batch C.

      1. No, you don’t need a new Gmail. Once your school resends your name for Batch C, what you’ll do is called revalidation. Read about it here: https://nyscwhatsappgroup.com/nysc-revalidation/

      2. Deployment isn’t guaranteed to be Lagos again. Since you missed Batch B2, Batch C is a fresh posting cycle. You’ll need to work it again if you want Lagos specifically, otherwise NYSC can post you anywhere.

        Thr reason I couldn’t register was that the date of graduation on my certificate and on NYSC call up letter did not aligned.

        I have already contacted my school to correct the issue.

        My question is this:

        If I should revalidate as you have earlier instructed, using my already existing account, won’t the same mistake continue???

      Sorry about that. That error response is because you are either trying to submit relocation application to Lagos, Abuja, your state of origin, or the state where you studied. You will also get that error response if you studied a medical course. Your best option is to change the state or employ the services of trusted people who help influence relocation on DG directives.

      Since you haven’t registered yet, just relax until your school uploads the next senate list. Your NIN change to your husband’s name won’t stop anything because your maiden name is equally on your record with NIMC.

      Ensure you have the affidavit for change of name and newspaper publication ready before the NYSC registration portal opens.

      Good evening Annabel. If you receive your call-up letter but don’t report to camp, you won’t lose your chance to serve. You’ll simply revalidate when the next batch’s registration opens and NYSC will move your details forward. Whether you get deployed with that next batch or shifted further is entirely up to NYSC.

      The updated record will be included on the senate list whenever your school is uploading the next list on the NYSC portal. Once that is done, you will revalidate once the portal opens for registration and the new date of graduation will reflect on your dashboard.

      No, there’s no shortcut to fast-track NYSC exemption or exclusion. Once your school uploads your details and you register, NYSC processes it and issues the certificate in due time. Even if your reason for exclusion is because you’re serving in the Armed Forces, you still have to wait for NYSC’s official timeline. Any promise of getting it within weeks is likely a scam.

You’ve done what is expected of you to do in this situation, which is reporting in camp and having your case escalated to the NYSC headquarters for reprinting of call-up letter. There’s nothing else you can do than to be checking your dashboard for the new call up letter.

      You don’t have to worry about the camp registration closing date. Since you already reported in camp and have been attended to, the deadline doesn’t apply to you.

          There are only a few backlog of registered PCMs left to be deployed to camp. Those guys don’t pose a threat to your deployment come batch C.

          What you should be worried about though is the huge number of unregistered PCMs like yourself that are waiting go camp this November. Brace up for more shiftings. 😁

      The dark days are over Famakinwa. NYSC has almost cleared the backlogs of registered PCMs with only few yet to be deployed to camp. There will be fresh senate list upload for the November batch to accept fresh NYSC registrations.

    Good morning sir I am a batch B copper that existed camp last month I was given PPA but got rejected so I wrote an application to be reported and submitted at my Lgi but they haven’t reposted me yet and the month is coming to an end. Now because of the new intakes they don’t even have my time sir

      Since you’ve already submitted your rejection letter, the next step is to keep following up with your LGI. Reposting sometimes takes a while especially when a new batch is just coming in, but you’ll definitely be reposted. Just stay in touch with your LGI and keep records of your submission in case of future queries.

      If the monthly clearance comes without you being assigned to a PPA yet, you’ll be cleared for that month because it’s not your fault for not having a PPA.

      No, you shouldn’t be worried. Since you weren’t given a call-up number or letter, NYSC has simply moved you to the next batch. You don’t need to do anything. NYSC will automatically revalidate you when it’s time.

Pls i want to confirm something because it has been bothering me, i graduated 2019 then I was 24 yrs that’s six years ago but due to marriage and child birth i couldn’t process my service.           If your friends already got theirs and you still don’t have a call-up letter, it means NYSC didn’t include you in this stream. Once letters are released, everyone meant to go gets theirs at the same time. You’ve simply been moved to the next batch automatically, so just wait for the next mobilization. Nothing to worry about.

      Even though direct posting is an unofficial practice within the NYSC space, it comes before posting. Now that you’ve been posted already, your next option is either you don’t go to camp at all, and revalidate with the next batch. This will give you the opportunity for direct posting. The second option is to report in the state you’re posted and apply for relocation to your desired state.

    I’m a B1 serving corps member in Port harcourt. I recently applied for reposting cos where I was initially posted for my ppa doesn’t seem good to me, now the new ppa has reflected on my dashboard and im yet to report myself.

      Yes Chukwudi, you can change your place of primary assignment as many times as you can. But then, “as you can” means you’ll need to go through the unconventional route of getting PPA influencers or “plugs” to get it done.

      Good morning Hassan. After registration, the next step is to wait for NYSC to release call-up numbers and then the call-up letters. They don’t always send emails, you’ll see it directly on your NYSC dashboard once released. Just keep checking your portal. If your name doesn’t appear in the current batch, you’ll be carried over to the next. Nothing to worry about.

    Please I wanted to ask you about the revalidation I did with my smartphone. I was posted to Bauchi in June but I didn’t go. So as portal opened this September, I clicked on the revalidation button and it brought me to my nysc page/dashboard. I did it the next day again just to be sure.

    Been checking my dashboard ever since and my former call up number is still there. I just want to know if I did the revalidation right and what I should hope next for. A new call up number or I should actually hope to see a call up letter?

      Happy Sunday Chimdi,

      You did the revalidation correctly. Seeing your old call-up number on your dashboard means you revalidated WITHIN the same batch (between streams) you were originally deployed. Call-up number can only change if you revalidate BETWEEN batches.

      As for the question about call-up letter, only NYSC decides who gets it and who doesn’t. Wait until it’s released to be sure which side of the divide you belong.

      If your name is already with Student Affairs but they haven’t uploaded it yet, then you should be patient for them to upload it. NYSC will inform the SAOs whenever it time for upload. Until then, stop the anxiety and await the upload.

    I saw an NYSC post on your channel asking Students’ Affairs Officers to drop the uploaded details and upload fresh ones using JAMB records.

    I earlier asked you about my name on the school portal, where my first name was swapped with my surname, though my JAMB details are correct. You advised me to report to the Students’ Affairs Office before the school uploads the names.

    Since the NYSC post says uploads will now be done using JAMB details, do I still need to correct my details on the school portal, or is it no longer a problem? I’m not in town, and going back to Sokoto just for that will be difficult if it’s not necessary.

      Stop confusing yourself. The memo you’re referring to is meant for the student’s affairs officer, not you. Your school is responsible for uploading your details on the senate list, not JAMB. They will definitely let you know if they have problems with your details on JAMB.
