NYSC Mobilization for Foreign Graduates
Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) aspiring to join the National Youth Service Corps program must satisfy the eligibility criteria for mobilization. These criteria ensure that the NYSC scheme enrolls only qualified graduates, including foreign graduates.
In addition to these eligibility criteria, there is a general guideline for NYSC online registration that they must fulfill before registering for the program.
You might assume that covers everything. However, the process doesn’t end there.
Foreign-trained graduates and married female PCMs must meet specific requirements before NYSC can consider them for mobilization. This article explains the requirements for foreign graduates in detail.

Who is a foreign graduate?
In the context of NYSC, any Nigerian citizen who earns their first degree or HND certificate outside Nigeria is classified as a foreign graduate.
The online registration process for foreign-trained graduates enables them to submit their credentials and required documents for verification and evaluation. This ensures they fulfill the eligibility criteria for joining the NYSC program.
The purpose of verification is to guarantee that only graduates who have properly fulfilled the prescribed educational qualifications are deployed for service.
