NYSC Mobilization for Foreign Graduates

Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) aspiring to join the National Youth Service Corps program must satisfy the eligibility criteria for mobilization. These criteria ensure that only qualified graduates (including foreign graduates) are enrolled in the NYSC scheme.

In addition to these eligibility criteria, there is a general guideline for NYSC online registration that they must fulfill before registering for the program.

You might assume that covers everything. However, the process doesn’t end there.

Foreign-trained graduates and married female PCMs are subject to specific requirements that must be met before they can be considered for mobilization. This article explains the requirements for foreign graduates in detail.

  3. Please I’m Genesis. I’ve lived in Togo all my life and happened to transmute to Ghana every day for lectures since I live near the border. Students get to show their student ID card and are let to pass the border. I’m wondering what will happen if I don’t have a resident permit to register for nysc? Also, my school(Ho Technical university formerly known as “Ho polytechnic”) is accredited so do I still need to submit an evaluation letter from the ministry of education, Abuja? If so, is it before or after the online registration? Thank you🙏

  4. I have a friend who schooled as a foreign student in Cameroon but haven’t been able to go for NYSC since her graduation in 2022. The issue has to do with her not being verified despite going for physical verification at NYSC camp in Kubwa Abuja. What can she do pls?

    1. Sometimes it happens like that especially for foreign graduates. Tell your friend to revalidate once portal is opened for registration so she can schedule another date for physical verification.
