How To Print NYSC Addendum For Camp Registration

Did you know that over 30% of prospective corps members face preventable delays or complications simply because they ignored the NYSC addendum? This document, which is often overlooked, is key to a smooth orientation camp experience. Missing it or not complying can turn your eagerly awaited service year into an uphill battle.

In this guide, I explained the addendum and why NYSC made it mandatory for camp.

NYSC Addendum

What is the NYSC Addendum?

The NYSC addendum is a mandatory document every prospective corps member must sign and present at camp. It sets out the conditions you need to meet before registration. This includes bringing original certificates, ND or professional licenses where required, and for foreign graduates, passports with entry and exit stamps alongside academic documents.

It also gives clear rules on safety and conduct. You are strongly warned against night travel, fraudsters who promise postings, and presenting mismatched graduation dates on your call-up letter and certificate. Failure to follow these instructions can stop you from being registered.

In short, the addendum is not an optional guide. It’s a binding agreement between you and NYSC that ensures only qualified, prepared candidates are admitted into camp.

Why You Need to Print the Addendum

The addendum shows up on PCMs dashboard after a successful online registration. It is part of the documents NYSC requires at camp. Bringing it shows you have agreed to the terms and conditions for service.

It confirms that you understand the rules about documents, conduct, safety, and health requirements. If you don’t have it, you will not be cleared for registration at the orientation camp. Printing it early saves you that stress and proves you’re ready for service.

How to Print the NYSC Addendum Step-by-Step

The addendum is the pop-up notification on the screen after every login on the NYSC portal. Here is how you can print it under 60 seconds:

  1. Sign in to the NYSC portal with your email and password used during online registration.
  2. Whether or not you have a call-up number, there will be a pop-up on your dashboard that contains the details of the NYSC addendum.
  3. There is a “close” and “print” options at the bottom of the pop-up. Click on print.
  4. Since the content of the addendum is in black letter texts, there’s no need to print in colour. Black and white gets the job done.
  5. After printing, append your signature at the provided space. This signed copy will be required during registration in camp.

Note: Unlike the NYSC call-up letter, the addendum can only be downloaded or printed on a laptop or desktop computer. Using a mobile phone will only download the web page instead of the document itself.

The addendum highlights rules every prospective corps member must follow. Here are the most important:

Conduct and Uniform

  • Indiscipline is not tolerated. Your passport photo on the portal must be decent.
  • Corps members are expected to dress properly in the approved NYSC uniform at all times in camp.

Health Notes

  • PCMs are to disclose genuine health conditions for proper management.
  • Immunizations against common diseases are encouraged, even though not compulsory.

Difference between the NYSC Addendum and Green Card

Many prospective corps members confuse the NYSC addendum with the green card, but they serve different purposes. Here it is side by side.

NYSC AdendumNYSC Green Card
The pop-up slip is available immediately after completing online registration. The biodata printout slip is made available only after the release of the call-up number.
Contains the required documents, safety, and conduct guidelines. Contains personal details, call-up number, next of kin, kit sizes, etc.

The NYSC green card is about your data, while the addendum is about your agreement to the rules. You must print and take both to camp.

  1. Please if ur statement of result or certificate is laminated will it be an issue during registration in camp? Mine was laminated out of ignorance felt I did that for safety. Just finding out now that it’s not meant to be laminated

  2. Please all my documents has an hyphen to my name. But when I registered it’s not showing the hyphen. Should I do correction of name and add the hyphen or is it that NYSC doesn’t use hyphen on names? Then how do I get Waec verification pin?

  3. In my statement of result, my surname is the last name there, while on my dashboard, my surname comes first. I’m trying to rearrange it so that they it tallies with the statement of result. Is it necessary?

  4. Good afternoon

You said the green card contain kit size information, mine only contain personal details, next of kin, and educational details. Nothing after the table for education.

  8. Good morning Local man,

Sadly I didn’t get a call up number (yet). I successfully registered and paid on day 3 o.

According to ur voice note there won’t be registrations for stream 2. So I’d like to ask if Nysc would select stream 2 PCMs from us already registered PCMs . I’m asking so I can also prepare for the NERD policy in case there’s no hope for this batch C.

  9. Good morning Local Man

PCMs who had successful online registration but didn’t get call up number are exempted from this NERD slip stuff about to commence in 2026 right?

  10. Good morning mentor, how do I know if the call up number is given to me. Because on my dashboard if I click print the only response is(Best view with Microsoft internet browser and Mozilla Web browser). does it mean I have not been given call up number?
    Thanks 🙏

  11. Good morning local man,pls my results and graduation list are having just month and year as the date, that is they are written like this Dec,2025 instead of day, month and year.will there be a problem.

  12. Dear local man, thank you for all the stress you undergo to give PCM accurate and well detailed information concerning their future in Nysc, God bless you.
Please sir, I applied for Rearrangement of names on my dashboard to align with what’s on my certificate and till now it still shows that my request is being reviewed.
    My dashboard: Eka, John Onye
    NY Certificate: Eka Onye John.
Please, I hope they’d review it on time and this won’t affect my camp registration, thank you.

  13. Hello Chief,
My School certificate is reflecting 3 names

The name uploaded in nysc senate list is 2 names

My jamb is equally 2 names

I have successfully registered waiting for my Call up letter

Now my question is, will that affect me during camp registration?

If Yes, can I apply for correction of name on my NYSC portal to reflect the 3 names as contained in my School certificate?
