Overview of the NYSC Calendar 2026

The NYSC 2026 calendar is the official schedule that guides the organization’s activities for the service year, often summarized in the 2026 NYSC timetable released for each batch. It covers everything from internal planning to coordination with schools, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

NYSC uses this calendar to keep every state on the same track. When institutions upload senate lists or when the mobilization portal opens, those dates are all fixed in line with the calendar’s plan. If there are any changes, it will reflect in the NYSC updated calendar 2026. It’s the structure that keeps the entire scheme running smoothly across the country.

Why the NYSC 2026 Calendar Matters for PCMs

For prospective corps members, this calendar is like a compass. It helps you know what to expect, when to expect it, and how to plan ahead. Understanding it saves you from the misinformation that often spreads before every mobilization. The calendar for NYSC 2026 also helps you prepare early for documentation, registration, and travel.

Understanding the NYSC Batch System

If you’ve ever wondered why NYSC mobilizes in different batches and streams, this is where it all makes sense. The batch system is NYSC’s way of organizing the large number of graduates who go for service every year.

Difference Between NYSC Batch A, Batch B, and Batch C

Each service year is divided into three batches namely A, B, and C. The NYSC batches and months 2026 follows the same pattern, with each round of mobilization happening at different times of the year.

Batch A usually kicks off early in the year, often between February and April. Batch B follows around mid-year, while Batch C closes the year, usually between October and December. All the batches go through the same process of registration, deployment, and camping but at different times.

How the NYSC Streams Work and Why They Exist

The batches are further divided into two streams, called Stream 1 and Stream 2. This helps NYSC manage the number of corps members going to camp at once. Each stream has its own camp date even though they both belong to the same batch.

When is the next batch for NYSC in 2026?

The next batch of NYSC 2026 is Batch C Stream 2 of 2025. The management hasn’t released the official timetable yet but based on the first mobilization of the previous year, it usually begins very early in January. Once NYSC announces the registration and camp dates on their verified social media handle, this page will be updated with the confirmed details.

How NYSC Decides the Calendar Dates

The NYSC calendar is planned with the larger national landscape in view. Before any dates are approved, the management reviews Nigeria’s yearly schedule to avoid overlap with major events. Political activities, holidays, and major religious observances all play big roles in shaping the final timetable.

For instance, orientation camps are never held during elections, Easter, Ramadan, Eid ul-Adha, or Christmas. These are periods that hold deep national or religious significance, and NYSC deliberately respects them to maintain balance and harmony across the country.

Once those sensitive dates are mapped out, the rest of the year’s program is arranged to give each batch enough time for mobilization and camping.

What Comes After the Calendar Dates

Once NYSC releases the calendar, what follows is preparation and enforcement. The schedule becomes the official guide for every activity that follows, from senate list uploads to camp openings.

For prospective corps members, this is the time to get ready and follow the NYSC mobilization updates closely. Ensure your documents are in order and prepare for the next NYSC registration and deployment to camp.

The calendar gives structure, but it’s your readiness that keeps you on track when the next NYSC mobilization begins.

📌 Bonus: Message on Whatsapp to process your medical fitness certificate. It is a compulsory requirement for camp registration.

Common Questions About the NYSC Calendar 2026

Here are some of the questions PCMs usually ask and how it impacts the mobilization process.

Is the NYSC calendar 2026 available to the public?

Not officially. NYSC doesn’t publish the calendar for public view. It’s for internal management of the scheme. What they release instead are official timetables for each batch, which reflect portions of the yearly calendar. So, while you may not find a document titled NYSC 2026 Calendar on their website, the information becomes public gradually through these timetables and official updates.

Is the NYSC Calendar the same as the Mobilization Timetable?

No, they’re not the same. The NYSC calendar 2026 provides a broad overview of all activities for the service year, while the NYSC mobilization timetable focuses on specific dates and steps for each batch and stream. In short, the timetable is the detailed version of the calendar.

How many batches does NYSC have per year?

NYSC mobilizes graduates in three batches every year (Batch A, Batch B, and Batch C). Each batch is further divided into two streams to help manage the number of corps members reporting to camp at once.

When is the next NYSC batch?

The next batch for NYSC is 2025 Batch C Stream 2, which comes after the NYSC current batch, 2025 Batch C Stream 1. This is expected to start in January 2026, though the exact date will be confirmed in the official NYSC mobilization timetable once released.

Is there any difference between Stream 1 and Stream 2?

Not really. Both belong to the same batch and follow the same process. The only difference is in their camping and passing-out dates.

When will the next NYSC orientation camp open?

How long does the NYSC orientation camp last?

The NYSC orientation course lasts for 21 days. This is the standard NYSC camp schedule used nationwide. During that period, corps members go through paramilitary drills, lectures, and social activities that prepare them for the service year ahead.

How can I confirm my batch and stream?

NYSC does not assign batches ahead of time. You become eligible for a batch once your name appears on the NYSC Senate List portal. For foreign-trained graduates, eligibility begins after evaluation by the Federal Ministry of Education. Your batch and stream will be displayed on your NYSC dashboard after registration.

Can the dates on the NYSC 2026 calendar change?

Yes. NYSC sometimes adjusts the calendar based on national events or internal planning. Any changes to the NYSC Calendar 2026 will be updated on this website as soon as it’s confirmed.

How do I stay updated on changes to the NYSC calendar 2026?

Follow official NYSC channels and credible news platforms that quote verified sources. Avoid WhatsApp or Telegram broadcasts that share dates without linking to reliable sources.

Can I register for NYSC after clocking 30 years?

You can register as long as your details is on the senate list. However, your eligibility for active service depends on your age at graduation. NYSC uses your date of birth on JAMB and your graduation date on the Senate List to determine eligibility. If you graduated before turning 30, you can still serve even if you’re now older.

When will NYSC release the 2026 timetable?

The NYSC 2026 mobilization timetable is released shortly before every Batch activities begin. Unlike the full NYSC calendar, which isn’t made public, the mobilization timetable is always published on the NYSC website and shared across their verified social media pages.

  1. Good morning local man, sir any update concerning senate list? today is 25/10/2025 and nothing is groud. I,m a graduate from fidei polytechnic gboko.

  2. Good morning sir
    I graduated from ABU
    Collected my results in August
But the results stated may 23rd
So that means I graduated since May
    My question is long though
Yesterday, someone scared me that in the last mobilization, not all Abu students were mobilized cause they had plenty graduates on ground and that since my graduation was recently, I might not be mobilized too till older ones are mobilized but there’s chance
How true is this cause I thought school is to submit all the graduates for mobilization
And please I haven’t seen Abu submitting mobilization list yet

    1. Schools mobilize their graduates for NYSC during every batch. How they do that mobilization is solely up to the schools, and not an information I’m privileged to.

  3. Good evening local man, as a PCM batch c2, I currently have my ND statement of result. But pcms in the sch I graduated from (HND) are all applying for their ND certificate saying that it’s one of the new NYSC camp requirements.
So I’m here to confirm do we really need the ND certificate alongside the statement of result. I’m concerned cause it’s going to be a very long process. Thank you.

    1. Good evening Sarah. At at the time of this response, there’s no communication from NYSC about such. OND statements of result were still accepted during the last camp registration in September.

  4. In your last voice note you said no school was uploaded on the senate list for batch B stream 2.
I feel that’s why most people weren’t moved to the next batch
But now that we have lot of schools already set to upload their senate list.
It means the next batch online registration we might have people being moved to the next batch
    I just thinking
What’s your take of this sir

    1. NYSC didn’t allow senate list upload in Batch B because there were a lot of registered PCMs who are yet to be deployed to camp. The whole essence of senate list upload is for online registration, not bragging right. Stop the overthinking and be patient, okay?

  5. Good evening sir
I’m a pcm that registered with the last nysc batch,

I wanted to confirm if the portal is currently open for revalidation

Someone told me it’s currently on going

  6. Also, will we have access to hot water for bathing😔? I grew up using only hot water to take my bath. I really hope the answer is positive cos I can’t imagine doing without it

  7. Good morning
I studied psychology in school but my jamb admission letter is carrying physiology.
    Will it affect me?
And can I change it during NYSC registration?

    1. No it won’t. I believe your school will mobilize the correct course on the senate list. And even if they don’t, there is option for course correction on PCM’s dashboards after online registration.

  8. Hello Local Man. Thank you for your assistance to Niverian students, PCMs and serving Corps members as well.

I need your advice on this,
My wife and i weren’t married as at when she did registration abd webt to Camp. She is currently serving now (B1} and we are now married, what documents or how do we make the application for a redeployment to where i am based.?

  9. Good morning sir
I realized that online registration for next batch (batch C stream 1) will begin
    Nov 4 to Nov 9th

Which starts on Tuesday and ends on Sunday

Do you think there’s an error in the date

Cos usually registrations usually starts on Monday and ends on Friday

Or am I missing something out

  10. Good morning Sir please l have a question
So my jamb Date of birth doesn’t tally with the one in my NIN

Do l have a problem with that during registration in camp?

  11. Abdulazeez imuhani

Goodmorning sir what if I do registration completely and luckily enough NYSC grant me call up letter but I was not able to go camp or service, will my name going to still appear in the next batch.
Or should I leave it and register for next batch fully please I really need your advice for clarification

  12. Good afternoon sir.
    Happy new week!

About the NYSC registration, I graduated last year but haven’t gone for service yet because of my work. The kind of work I do keeps me online almost everyday.
I’m just a bit worried that going for service might affect my work.
I’ve been hearing people talk about “ghosting” the service, though I’m not sure how that works.
For the 3 weeks in camp, I can try to be available. But after that, I’m not really sure how to balance both work and service.

So I just wanted to ask if there’s any way you can advise or guide me on how to go about it.

    Thank you so much, sir!

  13. Good morning Sir
    How’re you doing today?

Sorry please I just want to find out something, you said the orientation for (Batch C stream 1) starts on Nov 19th – Dec 9th ..

So would it be possible for someone to resume camp on maybe (Nov 25th-27th) I have a function on 22nd and it has been fixed since four months ago.

  14. Onumajuru Ngozi ifunaya

Good morning local man,was sent out of camp cause of Date discrepancy on call up letter and certificate. Certificate is saying 1/2/2024,callup letter is saying 2/2/2024.
    Tho was my school’s mistake.
What are the steps to take to enable me go with this present batch?

  15. good day sir, I have a question.
I was deployed in the last batch and because of name mismatch I wasn’t registered at the camp. Now everything is sorted what should I do for this next batch to be eligible for deployment.

  16. I graduated 3yrs ago, just incase, how do they expect me to go about the *NERD* project upload when I’m no longer in contact with my school/department

  17. Good evening Sir, please my date of birth in JAMB result and my NIN is different will it affect me for registration? And I had that if I used it in camp that my monthly stipend will not be pay in that my NIN date of birth didn’t tally with? Thank you

  18. Am back here..
Pls sir, i want to ask when the registration for batch c stream I starting? I have been very stressed here@ home;me wey be PBAT namesake..
Pls i also Need Info about oyo state(Weather and all other tins)..

  19. Good evening Sir, please can one still do jamb regularisation, but I already submitted my internal mobilisation form to my school because the date of birth in my NIN and that of my jamb result is differ from ? Thanks

    1. Hello Sammy unfortunately, I don’t guide on JAMB regularization. You might want to visit the nearest JAMB CBT center for help.

Meanwhile, the difference in the date of birth is not a problem.

  20. Please sir, my issue is that, I have been deployed to camp last batch (Batch B2) but I was sent back because of discrepancy of graduating date.
So my question here sir, is that, what will happen to me if this batch is open?
Thank you for your prompt response.

  21. I have an issue with my result,I’m a polytechnic graduate and my name is Philip Simon, but in my ND result is phillip Simon while my HND is Philip Simon,
So I don’t know if I can serve or if there will be solution to that

  22. Good morning Local Man. I need some clarity here please. With these latest memo from NERD about exemption of the intending Batch C PCMs from the NERD compliance policy which you have posted on your WhatsApp channel, does it mean that they will no longer ask for the clearance slip from people deployed in the Batch C for physical clearance at their orientation camps or is this only a general pass for NYSC online registration only?

  23. OLUWAPELUMI ISAIAH

Local man I greet and thanks for all you do but I need help. During NERD enrolment, the institution I choose was The Federal Polytechnics Ado Ekiti Ekiti State but when I clicked on where I am to submit, it was another institution. I messaged
NERD mail to complain but I haven’t received any mail.
    What should I do?

  24. Good evening Sir local man
Please my relocation is showing me that is on process that nill, please what should I do about that.
    Please I need your advice

  25. Good evening Local Man.
I have a software company am currently working with in Lekki(remotely) but they haven’t had any corpers in the past, and i’d like to do my PPA there, how do i go about this?

  26. I created my NERD profile ,but after I login I discovered that my department was changed to “Animal science” instead of “science and vocational education” the institution too is missing .
please how can I resolve the issue.

  27. Ubong Sunday Jacob

I did internal mobilization this year after have gotten my statement of result, I had date of birth issue in which I did the correction in uniuyo portal right from year 1 not knowing my jamb admission letter is still carrying the wrong date of birth. After the Nysc internal mobilization I realized that it will affect me. I wasn’t told, please is there anyway to do the correction in Nysc internal mobilization and jamb portal?

    1. Unfortunately Jacob, JAMB doesn’t allow date of birth correction. If you’re more than 30 years as at your date of graduation, you will be exempted, irrespective of the error you’re talking about.

  28. Good afternoon local man. I haven’t receive my call up number. I registered for batch B. Is it possible for them to send the call up number and the call up letter so that I can join this time?

  29. Ismail Dahiru Ibrahim

  30. Hello, good morning. Please, is anyone else experiencing the ‘reCAPTCHA verification failed’ issue? I’ve tried several times, but it keeps showing that, even after I’ve submitted all the required documents with the appropriate file size on the KYC page. Any solution to that?

  31. Good PM Local man, thanks for the updates so far 👏.pls I want to ask
The ID card and passport for NERD, should it be in a pdf format too before we can upload it or we can just snap it on our phone as a picture and upload. Also, can NIN or school ID card be used instead of the ID card requested

  32. Hi local man
I was recently posted to a community secondary school here in Rivers (B2) I spoke with the principal of school today so I could ghost then I get my clearance letter for each month clearance of which the Vice principal agreed partially based on their terms & condition. My question is simple please should I inform my LGI about this plan or just go ahead since I will be attending CDs and monthly clearance ?

    1. Even though I don’t talk about ghosting, hope you’re aware that you must be cleared every month by your LGI, irrespective of whatever agreement you have at the PPA?

      1. Yes of course I am aware
Please what advise can you leave as a benchmark? Although I am truly considering approaching my LGI so I won’t have any issue going further

  33. Good afternoon
I have a question, say I registered last batch but I didn’t get called up and so I know that I’ll be called up in Nov
But I don’t want to go to camp this year so is there any way I can do it or is it that once you register you have to go when they call you up
Basically, my question is, can you defer the camp to another time?
    Is it possible?

  34. Good afternoon local man when I submitted my project my project supervisor just signed on the first page and date, concerning the nerd clearance submission

  38. Good afternoon, please is it possible for you to ask the people that their nerd clearance is successful how they went about it? Cause I’ve been trying to upload since morning and it keeps giving me an error message. Any help would be appreciated.

      1. Good afternoon, about the image you posted that said “contact your curator” i had the same issue too. Mine was because I used AI to get the summary of my work. I don’t know if theres a way to tell the person to double check if he or she used AI for any text and rephrase it with their own words. I hope this helps.

      2. Lastly, uploading just the pdf of your project is the best. I filled my title. Meta tile. Summary, one image (less than 200kb) for the cover page. And a pdf copy of my work and certification page.

  42. Good Morning Sir. Pls About The NERD issue i learnt that we will have a slip to show we have been cleared by them, so i want to ask is it that we will go to our school to collect the slip or how are we getting it?

    1. Please what is the meaning of NERD.!
I really don’t understand anything about.!please put me through 🙏🙏

  43. A special thanks to you Local man for your updates.
Meanwhile I have 2 questions to ask concerning this NERD…
    1. Is this uploading also applicable to us who have already registered?

    2. Since we are to upload the page where the HOD and other signed, does it not mean we are to scan our hard copy project and upload? because the soft Copy of it is not signed.

  44. Ayoola Anthony Osagunna

Good evening Sir. My name is Osagunna Anthony Ayoola and I’m a PCM. Please I need your response regarding the name issue Sir. The name on my NIN is Osagunna Ayoola Anthony while all my details from my waec to jamb to uni is Osagunna Anthony Ayoola. Does this difference matter to NYSC? Or do I need to change the arrangement on my NIN, of which I learnt may be quite costly to change.

  45. sundayechelema@gmail.com

Please this NERD of a thing also includes those already mobilized since, and yet to register? That is one that was mobilized long time ago but didn’t have chance to register for camp this also affect them? Thank you
