The NYSC 2026 calendar is the official schedule that guides the organizationโ€™s activities for the service year, often summarized in the 2026 NYSC timetable released for each batch. It covers everything from internal planning to coordination with schools, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

NYSC uses this calendar to keep every state on the same track. When institutions upload senate lists or when the mobilization portal opens, those dates are all fixed in line with the calendarโ€™s plan. If there are any changes, it will reflect in the NYSC updated calendar 2026. Itโ€™s the structure that keeps the entire scheme running smoothly across the country.

How Does the NYSC Batches Work?

The batch system is NYSCโ€™s way of organizing the large number of graduates who go for service every year. If youโ€™ve ever wondered why NYSC mobilizes in different batches and streams, this is where it all makes sense.

Difference Between NYSC Batch A, Batch B, and Batch C

Each service year is divided into three batches namely A, B, and C. The NYSC batches and months 2026 follows the same pattern, with each round of mobilization happening at different times of the year.

Batch A usually kicks off early in the year, often between February and April. Batch B follows around mid-year, while Batch C closes the year, usually between October and December. All the batches go through the same process of registration, deployment, and camping but at different times.

How the NYSC Streams Work and Why They Exist

The batches are further divided into two streams, called Stream 1 and Stream 2. This helps NYSC manage the number of corps members going to camp at once. Each stream has its own camp date even though they both belong to the same batch.

Understanding how the batch and stream system works helps you plan better. Youโ€™ll know when to expect mobilization and how to follow the updates that apply to your batch.

When is the next batch for NYSC in 2026?

The orientation camp is set to open on 4th November 2026 for Batch C Stream 2. This is a credible inside information which is yet to be made public by NYSC on the mobilization timetable.

How NYSC Decides the Calendar Dates

The NYSC calendar is planned with the larger national landscape in view. Before any dates are approved, the management reviews Nigeriaโ€™s yearly schedule to avoid overlap with major events. Political activities, holidays, and major religious observances all play big roles in shaping the final timetable.

For instance, orientation camps are never held during elections, Easter, Ramadan, Eid ul-Adha, or Christmas. These are periods that hold deep national or religious significance, and NYSC deliberately respects them to maintain balance and harmony across the country.

Once those sensitive dates are mapped out, the rest of the yearโ€™s program is arranged to give each batch enough time for mobilization and camping.

What Comes After the Calendar Dates

Once NYSC releases the calendar, what follows is preparation and enforcement. The schedule becomes the guide for every activity that follows, from senate list uploads to camp openings.

For prospective corps members, this is the time to get ready and follow the NYSC mobilization updates closely. Ensure your documents are in order and prepare for the next NYSC registration and deployment to camp.

The calendar gives structure, but itโ€™s your readiness that keeps you on track when the next NYSC mobilization begins.

๐Ÿ“Œ Bonus: Message on Whatsapp to process your medical fitness certificate. It is a compulsory requirement for camp registration.

    2. What are the chances that we that registered just September will be included in stream II?

  2. Suspending nysc is not the issue because itโ€™s not only nysc people they kidnapโ€ฆ but if they want to they should wait for this year to be over

  3. Good evening sitI just saw my call letter now
I’ve been checking and I didn’t see it

Is it still possible to report to camp tomorrow

Eg is 1 October 2010 is on my waec certificate instead of 16th may 2010. All my documents bears 16th may 2010 and My secondary school said the fault is not from them. It maybe waec. Pls sir I want to know if it can affect me in the camp because am done with my registration. Am waiting for number and called up letter. Pls sir ur advice will be highly appreciated

  8. Good morning sir .Please I want to ask I requested for correction of name on my NYSC dashboard but t has not being approved, I don’t know if I should go to any NYSC secteriat or I should just leave it am yet to go to camp is just an apostrophe. The name is neempere instead of ne’empere. During online registration it was correct it was after the payment and when I finished everything I just saw it changed.

    1. For unknown reasons, the NYSC portal is designed to remove such punctuations from names. Even if your application for correction is approved, it will still be displaying what you’re seeing now. Reserve your complaints for the orientation camp. It will be fixed when you get there.

  9. Good morning local man

Please I want to clarify something about the school ID cards. I misplaced mine and my original certificate is not yet out. I only have my Statement of Result that was issued in August.

Will they accept the Statement of Result alone without requesting for the school ID?

  10. Hello, I started with my registration during the last concluded reg, but I couldnโ€™t finish with the registration I stopped at the thumb print part. What I want to know is if I can still finish up with the registration and go for camp this year?

  13. Good afternoon, Local Man.
I have received my call up letter.
But due to some reasons beyond me, I don’t think I’ll be able to go for camp. Would there be consequences if I don’t go?

  14. Since I left camp I have not been able to do my clearance because my thumbprint doesn’t work for me, I was even given an opportunity to recapture which I did but it is still not working and that issue has been making my portal to read abscent and I don’t receive my allawee because of that

Please is there anyway this issue can be sorted out

  15. Michael Adeyemi Adeagbo

Concerning HND student with there IT certificate or IT letter
My question is that I graduated with pass during my ND and instead of me to do IT two years I just do one year and go back for HND so after writings my second semester exams finish that is when nysc brought the issue of IT letter or IT certificate
And then my school keeps my results pending instead of 2024 it was now delayed to 2025 addition of 1year due to the IT issue

  16. Olamide Rebecca Adisa

Good afternoon local man, please i want to ask you a question , don’t be angry , when i was filling my nysc form for registration, due to my genotype which is SC(sickle cell anaemia) so they were questions like would i prefer been in my parents state or doctor state? So my question is is there any probability of posting to lagos which is where i base or it won’t counts because i’m actually planning on paying for direct posting tho, if i see my call up number. i just thought of asking you if you could probably have idea about it, thank you sir.

  17. Good evening I need your help when I wrote neco my name came out as WANYERE GODDEY instead of WANDJERE GODDEY so I decided to use that name through out including my JAMB all my other documents have my full name including my NIN which is WANDJERE OGHENERO GODDEY I graduated since 2022 and my name has been on the senate list since January 2024 and I haven’t been able to do any registration I plan on doing so soon but I was told that if my name on my result does not match the name on my NIN then there will be issues I want advice on the best way forward is an affidavit stating that my original full name is WANDJERE OGHENERO GODDEY acceptable?

  18. Good day sir, I’m having 2 nerd clearance. The cafe I partnered with for my enrollment made a mistake on my institution and wrote University of Cross instead of University of Calabar. When I asked him to correct it, he instead requested for my other email and did another enrollment. Would they allow me in camp with this kind of situation?

  19. Good evening local man
Please I want to be clarified on something

There was a mistake in my dob during registration

I’ve purchased waec pin twice and applied for dob correction but till now it hasn’t reflected

I was told it’ll reflect when I get call up number but it my call up has dropped and it hasn’t be corrected still

    What do I do please?

    1. Whoever told you that lied. There is no timeframe for seeing the outcome of date of birth correction approval. Be patient for their email on the subject. Meanwhile, you can complain about it when you get to camp.

  20. Two of my bro just graduated and one want to reg for certificate of exemption, how should he go about it and how long does it take for the certificate to get across to his school
    2. The second want to do dp to the same state (Lokoja) where they schooled because of his nature of work. Is that possible and the how much will the dp cost?

  21. I’m being shown “NERD STATUS
partial(Partially compliant – only one clearance requirement matches.)”
    Please, what does this mean???

  22. Ogbeide blessed Chukwudalu

    Good morning local man.

I was posted to delta state January this year, but while in camp I couldn’t register due to discrepancy in my graduation date on my call up letter and statement of result. And also the wrong arrangements of my name

I was instructed to go to student affairs division in my school to rectify it. It has been corrected on my NYSC portal. I was also advised to apply for name re arrangement on my dash board which I have done too.

I have received my call up number for this batch and I believe I will receive my call up letter as well.

But I just want to ask hope the name re arrangement I applied for on my dash board will reflect on my call up letter cos I don’t want any issue to prevent me from being able to register for camp once camp opens by *September 30th*

    Thanks ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

  23. Please am confused about the website am operating on if it’s the real one.
My dashboard is showing state code ; I want to ask if the call up number is going to be down on the column of the state code or there’s going to be a different column for it. Am confused

    1. There is nothing to be confused about. You don’t have a call up number yet. When is it assigned to you, you won’t need to ask anyone before confirming it yourself.

The state code placeholder (N/A) is default for every PCM.

  24. Hi, on my ND result, my middle name is not correct. They wrote Ayo instead of Ayorinde, but on my HND statement of result, my name is correct. Other documents are correct except for my ND result. I hope it won’t affect me in camp.

    1. Well, I really can’t say whether or not it will. But what I know for sure is that NYSC camp officials don’t dwell much on the OND certificate. The focus is usually the HND.

  25. Good evening sir/ma. Please, I need clarification regarding my name arrangement.

The correct order of my name is Aliyu Usman Umar, which appears on my NYSC portal, Senate List, and other credentials. However, my certificate has the names arranged as Usman Aliyu Umar.

The three names are the same; only the order is different. Please, will this affect my registration at the orientation camp, or do I need to make any correction before going to camp?

    Thank you.

    1. You should have complained about it to your school since you know that what they wrote on your certificate is wrong. Anyway, I don’t think it’s a serious issue for camp. Please note that I said “I don’t think.”

  26. Hello sir, would they continue to issue out call up numbers until its time to batch c stream 2 or would the issuing stop as once as stream 1 commences camp on the 30th of this month

    1. Hello sir, would they continue to issue out call up numbers until its time for batch c stream 2 or would the issuing stop as soon as stream 1 commences camp on the 30th of this month

  27. Odior-onwuka Chukwu-elosem

    Hello sir.
Please I applied for name correction on my NYSC portal, now its showing name approved, but they didn’t make the right correction. Please what can I do?

  28. Good evening Sir
Please I really need your advice. This DOB issue is not nice at all.
My NIN, JAMB and NYSC portal are showing *2002*, but my birth certificate and school Senate list are showing *2003* (which is my correct one).
Please sir, what should I do to correct it now? What do you advise me to do?

    Thank you

  29. Good day Local man,
Please if I have my HND original statement of result and ID card, but have photocopies of my ND result, will I be allowed in camp?

  30. I have been deployed 2 times and it was same call up number only the batch changes and this time my batch has changed to batch c but same call up number is it likely i will be posted this batch?

  31. Sir what if you’ve registered but the cafe didn’t do payment till today, can it be rectified or till next batch.
It was an error on their part they thought they did

  32. Good afternoon sir,
    Pls I have a question
The name on my date of birth is different from the name in my credentials, but the date of birth is the same.
The name Iโ€™m using which is in my credentials is TIJJANI MUHAMMAD
While the one in my date of birth is AHMAD MUHAMMAD.
Pls is going to be an issue in orientation camp registration?

  33. I use combination of SSCE in my undergraduate i.e WAEC and NECO but i use only WAEC during NYSC registration because itโ€™s required only one SSCE. Should I present the NECO during camp registration ..?

  34. Taiwo Oluwatobiloba Precious

    Good morning, sir.

Please sir, I need clarification on something about my situation.

I did my NYSC registration in March this year and I just paid the 3000 for deployment in July because I was waiting to get my certificate. So I delayed paying so I won’t be deployed and not have my certificate to submit at camp.

I paid during the batch b stream 1 mobilization and since then I haven’t received call up number yet.

And this batch C, I’m yet to see my call up number.

Please what do you advice, sir? I’m not sure but someone advised that I do revalidation. Can I go ahead, sir?๐Ÿ™

    1. First of, you not paying the remita fee when you registered for NYSC has nothing to do with call-up number release. Many PCMs paid immediately they registered but they are yet to be given call-up number. I had to say this so you don’t think you were the one that intentionally delayed the release of call-up number.

Anyway, revalidation is done automatically. Just be patient for your call-up number.

  35. Good morning Sir.
Pls i registered for this current nysc batch.
But however i changed my mind so i want to follow the next batch.

So let’s say i get the call-up number but i refuse to report to camp, is it going to affect me in anyway?

    1. If you’re deployed and you refuse to report in camp, you will need to be patient for the next time NYSC will deploy you. And just so you know, you don’t have any power over when that time will be.

  36. Pls I register nysc around March and till now I never see call up number. And I heard it been shared yesterday and today again nothing show for here
So I want to ask if I get issue with my registration
And my nin and weac dob is different
    Pls can it affect

  37. I was deployed in batch b1 but didnโ€™t report to camp, so I revalidated this C1, and havenโ€™t gotten callup noโ€ฆWhats going on?

    1. Jamb carries 22 February 2005
      NIn same
      BVN same
      And my Neco same
But my real date of birth is 19 February 2003 and this is what I used for my university info
Tried using it when I was doing my Nysc registration online but it kept appearing the jamb date of birth

  38. Good day Local Man. I am assisting my wife with her NYSC registration, and we have encountered an issue.

In the second step of registration under husband details, we selected “no” for change of name because, even after marriage, my wife still uses her father’s surname on all her documents, and we intend to keep it that way.

However, when we reached the step to upload documents, a newspaper publication and a change of name affidavit were listed as requirements.

Please advise. Thank you for your assistance.

  39. Please the date of birth in my jamb, waec & nysc registration dashboard all matches together but all incorrect compared to my original date of birth in my nin and birth certificate

I don’t know If it’s possible for it to be resolved
By putting the original date of birth in the nysc portal

      1. Good morning local man
        How is your day going?

        Wanted to ask you something
I did a change of birth in my NYSC portal last week because
All my documents are Caring my real age 1997
But in my NYSC portal itโ€™s showing 2001
I bought a scratch card last week did the change of birth from 2001 to 1997 it was approved but is still not changing till date
How can I go about it sir
I really need ur help ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
My call up number just came in
        Iโ€™m seeing 2001
But all my documents WAEC, NIN, my certificate of date of birth are all carrying 1997
How can I go about it??

  40. Good evening, Local man. I am from the NYSC channel.

Please sir, I have initiated NYSC registration, in fact I have completed it, only that I have not made payment.

An unforeseen circumstance that won’t make me go to camp this year, or early next year showed up lately. As there is a new protocol for revalidation that now attracts a penalty (likely delay), is there a safest way for me to influence my deployment to next year batch A without doing revalidation.

I intend not to make the online payment, but I don’t know if that is the safest and the most effective to sit out batch C without getting penalised or face future difficulty

  41. Good morning Sir.
I’m facing some difficulties in my Nysc registration.
I’ve received a mail to create a profile, when I click on the link sent to my Gmail to create a profile/account after filling all the spaces provided the system will verify my details and show my Senate list verification as required now if click on “submit and continue” they system will tell me “Error: A task was canceled”. I don’t know what to do
