How many NYSC batches are in year 2025?

    Good morning Local Man,

    I attended camp last year December 2024.
    I was posted to the state I relocated, but couldn’t report.
    I never collect any allowance other than one in camp.
    Now it is almost 6 months.

    I want to start now.

    1. Am I applying for revalidation or remobilization?
    2. Must I wait till my batch before I apply?
    3. Must I go back to camp after remobilized?
    4. Is there any payment?
    5. Is there anything you can help me with, apart answering my questions?

    I asked the last question, because you helped me with fitness certificate and relocation last year (December 2024).

      It’s not a big deal. All you need to do is print your JAMB’s admission and result slip and your name will be automatically added on the matriculation list. You can visit the nearest JAMB CBT center to do that.

    Please my wife changed to my surname during her international passport registration.

    And her name is out in her school recently uploaded Senate list

    I want her to serve in my residence state . I read your article but people are saying she needs to revert to name on certificate or school mobilising before she can be mobilised when the portal opens.

    That we have to change back to maiden name on her nin which I know will become complicated

    Please what are your views.

      Your wives name on her international passport isn’t any problem. As a matter of fact, NYSC don’t need that except she’s a foreign graduate. Even at that, a newspaper change of name publication is the requirement that covers name changes. Message me so I can can help her process it.

    1. I have been mobilized in Batch C 2024.
    2. Now, Batch B Stream 2 2025 is opening for registration.
    3. Previously, i tried registering for Batch A Stream 1 2025 but couldn’t due to a name discrepancy:
    – Senate list: *”Mohammed”*
    – National ID card: *”Muhammad”*
    4. I’ve requested a name correction through the school’s Dean Student Affairs, but it hasn’t been processed yet (4-5 months).

    Please Local Man, given the name discrepancy between my National ID card and the NYSC senate list, would it be possible for me to temporarily change my National ID card to match the senate list, register for NYSC, and then correct it back to the original name after registration? Would the NYSC portal allow me to make changes to my name after registration?”

      Even as it it, I don’t think you’ll be denied registration because of the name misspelling.

      The process you’ve mentioned though is doable. NYSC has no business with your NIN after online registration.

    Hello Local man, please i need clarification on an issue. I’d like to serve with batch B stream 2, but at the moment, i am financially constrained (direct posting and other factors). Everyone thinks i should register first, then do a revalidation when I’m ready. Personally, I want to wait till I’m ready. What would you advise that i do…register between 8-13, or wait till I’m ready?

    Does it mean that schools that haven’t sent the Senate list are not going to do that before the registration

    Good evening. I’m yet to register for NYSC which I hope to do so by Monday once the process commences God’s willing but I wish to inquire about the NIN because my date of birth and year tally on all my documents except the NIN which was an oversight as at the time I opened my bank account so when I went for the NIN it took the details from my bank account which till now I’ve not been able to rectify on my NIN so please will this be an issue for me during camp registration or?

    Hi local Man I’m PCM awaiting online registration but we’re having date issues between what’s on our certificate and what was uploaded to NYSC Senate list. We’ve followed up with our school and they said they are working on it.

    My question is: now that NYSC will not open portal for uploading of senate list will it still be possible for our school to correct the date before the camp date for B 2

    I have 1997 in my jamb and 1999 in my NIN, can I still register for NYSC, will I be required to change the DOB in my NIN to 1997 which is in jamb??

    Good evening sir. I’m sorry for entering your dm. I just want to clarify something.

    On my jamb admission letter 2021 i had wrong arrangement of my name e.g Surname: Mohammed Firstname: Conde. The correct arrangement is the other way round. So i want to ask if i am to register for nysc will the jamb affect it.

    My name on my school (UI) is correct, same applies to my waec, nin. The wrong arrangement is just on jamb.

      I’ve seen people in that situation before and they claimed they registered without any problem. But I’d advise you go to the nearest JAMB CBT center and fix the issue so you’re not disappointed.

    Local man good morning boss,please I want to ask if church can send a letter of request that they need copper to work with them and again how do I go about it in camp for me to be posted to a university around my domicile although I didn’t collect any letter of request from the school oo,but I was told coppers are always posted to the university and it is very very close to my home. Am a married woman and with the help of my marriage certificate and all other credentials av got for the registration.. I have actually Registered since April both I have not been deployed yet. My husband domicile is lagos and we both live there sir. Please kindly share more light to this effect,God bless you richly sir.

      I’ve read articles online about religious organizations giving corps members welfare packages after their POP. This means it’s possible. Get a request letter from the organization and submit it to your platoon officer. You’ll know what goes on from there.

    Well done, Local Man.

    I obtained my degree from a recognised UK university – Oxford Brookes University. The entire program was completed online without visiting UK. However, when I logged for Exclusion Letter from NYSC they asked me to upload my travel documents even I had indicated that my program was completed online.

    This has been on since 2018 when I logged my request. I can request the university to send a direct confirmation directly to NYSC but I don’t know NYSC email address to direct it to. I am planning to visit the headquarters at Abuja. I will appreciate your guide on how I can navigate this process.
