When is NYSC registration starting?

There is no official date for Batch C Stream 1 registration yet. For heads up, it is always updated on the mobilization timetable as released by the NYSC. But again, the exact timing depends on various factors as explained in the NYSC calendar for year 2026.

NYSC Batch C 2026 Registration Guide

While waiting for the portal to open for the next online registration, it’s smart to get ready ahead. The first thing you should confirm is that your name is already on the NYSC senate list. Only graduates whose names appear there can complete online registration.

After that, you should go through the NYSC online registration requirements so you’ll know exactly what to do once registration begins.

NYSC Updates Today (27 July 2026): Batch B Stream 2 Camp Date, Direct Posting, Call-up Letter, and Batch C Registration

Hello and welcome to another edition of NYSC Recap with Local Man. If you’re preparing for NYSC Batch B Stream 2 or looking ahead to Batch C Stream 1 registration, quite a few developments happened within the past week. Here’s a quick roundup of the updates you should know.

Disclaimer: This recap is based on personal research and analysis. Treat it as you will.

👉 NYSC has officially announced that the Batch B Stream II orientation camp will hold from 5th – 25th August, 2026. Also, call-up numbers have been released to many registered PCMs already.

👉 If you haven’t seen your call-up number yet, don’t conclude on anything for now. From experience, some PCMs will still receive theirs before call-up letters are released, so keep checking your dashboard.

👉🏾 Barring any unforeseen circumstances, NYSC call-up letters are expected to be released on Monday, August 3rd. Those who paid me for direct posting should also look forward to the outcome on that day.

👉🏾 As I’ve mentioned several times, there is no online registration for Batch B Stream II. The next registration will be for Batch C but there is no official update on that yet. Once there is, I’ll let you know.

👉🏾 If you’re hoping to join NYSC Batch C, now is the time to follow up with your institution on the mobilization process. Doing this early will ensure your details are correctly captured on the Senate List so you don’t run into issues during NYSC online registration.

👉🏾 As you prepare for camp, don’t forget to arrange the documents needed for camp registration because NYSC takes them seriously. If you’re not sure what you’ll need, check this guide.

👉🏾 If you need any of the medical documents required in camp, I’m available to help with the processing. Send me a DM.

👉🏾 If you haven’t ordered your NYSC kits yet, now is the best time. To ensure timely delivery before camp travel, Thursday, July 30, is the deadline for placing orders. You can contact Fola for quality NYSC camp essentials.

👉🏾 Finally, be extra careful during this period. This is when scammers become more active because many PCMs are eager to complete their NYSC preparations. Always verify who you’re dealing with and do your due diligence before sending money to anyone.

That wraps up this week’s NYSC recap. Keep checking back for verified NYSC updates, registration news, and other important information for prospective corps members.

4. I wrote a comprehensive article on the list of documents you’ll need for documentation at NYSC camp. It’s worth a read!

5. This is a good time to start setting aside money for transportation. You don’t know where NYSC will post you, so it’s better to prepare ahead.

6. If you have a preferred state of service, it would be a wise decision to message Local Man now while direct posting is still available.

7. I can also help process the medical documents you’ll need in camp. No carry my moni go anywhere. 😄

8. Don’t wait until the last minute to buy your NYSC camp kit. Message Fola on 08160679062 to get quality camp kits at the best price.

Disclaimer: This is based on personal research and analysis. Treat it as such.

1. NYSC is yet to announce the orientation camp date for 2026 Batch B Stream 2. Based on information available to me, 5th August appears to be the most likely date although there are differing opinions. Either way, I expect a major update from NYSC this week.

2. Physical verification of foreign graduates begins today and will run until Wednesday, 15th July. This is one of the key activities taking place ahead of the next phase of deployment.

Disclaimer: This is based on personal research and analysis. Treat it as such.

1. Batch B Stream 1 PCMs deployed to Niger State will report to the NYSC orientation camp in Kubwa, Abuja, tomorrow 7th July for the commencement of their orientation course. The call-up letters of affected PCMs have already been updated on their dashboards to reflect the change.

2. There is still no official registration or orientation camp date for 2026 Batch B Stream 2. However, there are indications that August could be an important month for the next phase of NYSC mobilization. Once any official update is released, I’ll bring it to your notice.

3. Mobilization is also gathering pace across institutions. Many schools have started releasing their internal Senate Lists for Batch B 2026. I have compiled the institutions released so far here. If you are yet to be mobilized, this is a good time to follow up with your school.

4. The 2025 Batch B Stream 1 corps members will complete their national service this Thursday, 9th July, as announced in last week’s recap. Local Man wishes every one of them success in the next phase of life.

5. The Federal Government has approved major reforms to the NYSC scheme. The proposals are aimed at improving youth employability by introducing more practical skills, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and industry focused training into the service year.

6. The reforms will not take effect immediately because they still require amendments to the NYSC Act before implementation. For now, no commencement date has been announced, meaning the current NYSC system remains in place for serving and prospective corps members.

  2. Good evening sir
    Im confused sir
My sch senate has approved my name
And ive been trying to register but then i saw in the group that this batch b stream 2 is for those who registered march
Sir does that mean I cant register now again or its batch c i should prepare for sir
Please sir I need proper guidance

    1. There is no registration for now. As a matter of fact, NYSC is online registration cannot be a hidden information. Be patient on my WhatsApp Channel for updates.

  3. Ndibe Francis Chukwudi

Good day sir, please sir, i have questions. my school id expired 2024, can i still make use of it in the camp and please my second questions is that 2025, my department worked on my matric number, at the end of it , it is carrying (SD) for example 20/213334545SD is my matric number and is everywhere on my nysc portal and certificate apart from my school id, since it has expired 2024. my school id is carrying 20/213334545 without the SD, before the change. do i need to renew my id card before going to camp or i can carry it like that to camp?

  4. Good afternoon, Local Man. Great work you’ve been doing.

During registration, I entered “M” (male) for the gender section. However, on the website where I’m to check my call up number and other details, which I’m yet to receive, I saw “F” (female), displayed there. The issue therefore is that the “M” is still visible on the registration page, except for the other page, which suggests that there has been some issue on the portal

I also want to make an inquiry about the call up number. I registered on Friday, April 10th, 2026 during the late registration window. Since the release of the call up numbers this week, I am yet to receive mine. Is the late registration the cause of the delay or is it the gender error that appears to be the reason?

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

    1. While it’s not a big deal there is option for gender correction on your dashboard. Use it…
Not seeing call-up number has nothing to do with gender mistake. Be patient.

  5. Hello,good morning

Please I’d like find out the documents I need to take camp as a married woman who registered for NYSC as single because I was still single at the time.
Can you also help provide some of things needed?

    Thank you

  6. Good morning local man,
    Trust you’re doing well.

I tried printing my NYSC document on my portal and I noticed you the day of my date of birth is inaccurate.
I haven’t had any issues with my date of birth since secondary school thus why I was unbothered about the date of birth correction.

But as it stands so, can I still make the corrections as I just received my call up number?

I have my waec certificate with me..

  7. I have been trying to log into my portal for weeks but it has been showing “access forbidden access denied”

  8. Good evening local man, sorry I don’t have the link to the page where I could post this question to: please I was given call up number and letter for Batch B stream 1 and was deployed to Ekiti state, but couldn’t register on time due to discrepancy with my certificate. When everything was corrected the portal had closed before I could begin thumb printing. Before leaving the camp the NYSC registration coordinator had advised to drop my call up letter with them so I can be mobilized with Batch B stream II. So now I checked my dashboard and the previous call up my and letter is still on my dashboard, please should there be a reason for me to be worried, or is there anything I should be doing?

  9. Good evening local man
I’m a foreign graduate and have successfully been cleared both online and physical verification
It’s reflecting cleared on my Status
But somewhere in my dashboard is still showing I haven’t been cleared online
Is this a challenge and I won’t get call up number?

  10. Good evening Local man
I follow your updates which are always easy to comprehend and follow through.
I was posted to Lagos camp in June but was sent back home because of thumbprint issue (though not the only one)
Before we were sent home, we were asked to write a letter directing it to abuja for rethumbprint
Then on Thursday our dashboard was asking us to thumbprint which we did and the dashboard remained with call up number and letter (the old one)
Now this evening, the call up letter is no longer showing.

Pls what I want to ask is are we going to do revalidation when the portal opens or if we will be given a new call up letter

  11. Concerning BVN and NYSC account opening
My name on my NIN and other school certificates is Val-Obi Favour Onyinyechi and on my BVN is ValObi Favour Onyinyechi.
Is this going to be a problem?

  12. Thankgod Obadiah

Sir I got your number from your WhatsApp group,I had issue with my jamb,I graduated 2024 but I wasn’t mobilised because I had three names on my result while my jamb is carrying two Names so I was directed to go to jamb office and rectify the issue which I did and was giving a slip to take to school and I also did right now am confused and worried at the same time if am going to receive anything again or better said how am I going to know if it worked or am I going to mobilised

    1. Be following up with your school about mobilization updates. If they don’t complain about the name again, it means you’ll be mobilized when next they are sending their list of graduates to NYSC.

  13. Good morning local man I’m Timi from osun state, I was deployed in June 2026 for nusc batch b stream 1 but due to a chronic health issue I didn’t report to camp but now I’m fine pls what can I do for me to be mobilised in this coming batch b stream 2. I am even thinking of going to nysc secretariat at Osogbo if anything can be done to it.

    1. Same answer given to Glory. If you’re able to login to your dashboard when they release call-up number for Stream 2, you can do direct posting to get called up again with them.

  14. Good morning Local man, I registered last year in November but when I did not get a call-up letter I just forgot about it, I checked yesterday and realised I was mobilised in Batch B (10 June), what do I do concerning this do I remobilise or wait?

    1. Be patient for this Stream. If you’re able to login to your dashboard when they release call-up number for Stream 2, you can do direct posting to get called up again with them.

  15. Good evening sir, please i need some clarity on this issue,so my school has released the Senate list and my name was spelled wrongly RACHAEL but the correct spelling is RACHEAL.pleas i want to know will it be a problem when i do the online registration

  16. Hello, good afternoon sir… I have a question sir, my SOR was given to me exactly a year ago this month, I wanted to ask if I can still take it to camp to use cause people were saying that you can’t use it cause its just for a year. I don’t want to be sent home when I get to camp hence the reason for my question sir.

  17. ADEYEMI, ADETILEWA HYRENE

Good afternoon, Local man. Well done for the the work. God bless you.

Please those that missed the online on-camp registration for very cogent reasons, though showed up on camp, but was six days late and was told the registration had closed. Please, should I do now?
I await your response the email address above.
    Thanks so much.

      1. Hello Local man,

I mobilized last year November for NYSC and was posted in batch A1 2026 to BORNO. But I didn’t report to camp due to distance and risk.

Since then, I haven’t been able to access my dashboard, I’ve tried changing password yet same issue.

I dropped the question on your telegram channel on what to do about this issue and I’ve been getting lots of Dms that I should revalidate.

Some even said they do revalidation. That they have someone in Abuja who can unblock my dashboard which will require money.

I decided to notify you first before making any decisions because, I’ve been on your WhatsApp group since last year and have gotten sincere updates.

What should I do? I want to serve.

        1. It’s good that you dropped it here because those guys will just scam you. I would have asked you to be patient for NYSC to give you access back to your dashboard but November is a long time to have been waiting for resolution. I’d advise you visit the nearest NYSC secretariat for help.

Meanwhile, I included the Helplines of NYSC support for issues relating to PCMs. You can check it out.

  18. Akinwumi Kayode

    Good afternoon sir,
    Happy Sunday sir.

Thank you so much for the well presented explanation you just made for us on the channel.

Though, I haven’t register but am following every update on the channel strictly to guide me by the time I would register and be serving.

Please sir, I want to ask that, would NYSC going to open portal for fresh registration for Batch B2 in July?

Though, am aware that there are still much registered people on ground that would still be considered.

Is it likely for fresh registration next month?

    Thank you sir.

  19. Please, if the date on my nin is not tally with that on my waec for regularization, will it have any effect in camp during screening?

  24. Joshua Emmanuel

How do i upload my project during NYSC registration? I was having challenges when I try to upload it.

  25. Good evening Local man
I’m a PCM, I registered in march and I have gotten my call up number and by God’s grace, I will get my call up letter soon.

The problem is that, I was the Best Graduating student in my department and faculty, and they just sent me an email demanding I should be in school on the 23rd of June, because there’s a very big event that day and they have decided to give me a special recognition and award that day.
But by then, I will be in camp, can I leave camp with the help of my platoon officer to attend the award giving day and come back the next day?
Please I need your advice on this
I’m in Anambra but I have done direct posting through the help of my uncle to Delta State
    Thanks so much 🙌

    1. Congratulations on this laudable feat. Wish you many more accomplishments ahead.

Yes, you can talk to your platoon officer about it if you have proof of course. I don’t think they will want to deny you that moment.

  26. Warri Ayibaperedei

    Good evening Sir
Please I have a question it’s really urgent.
The thing is my NERD status was showing pending since last month but getting to today it just changed to Partial, and according to you we should take it to our school student affairs so they can do the needful. My worry now is since today is Friday and I saw it late in the evening if not I would have gone to the school to address it, and tomorrow which is Saturday offices won’t be open so if I wait till Monday and sort it out will I still get call up letter to go for camp with this set?
Also the T&C message doesn’t pop up whenever I login to my page?

    1. Sorry, I can’t remember telling anyone to take anything to anywhere. What I said about the NERD status was that I believe it will change to successful after documentation at the orientation camp.

  27. Opeyemi Musiliudeen

Boss you said call up number is still dropping but I have not gotten mine and I registered on the third day of registration, Local man I need an explanation on why I have not still gotten my call up number meanwhile those that registered on the last day have gotten theirs, please explain thank you

  28. Good evening local man, please did you know wether NYSC will release call up number again in this batch b stream 1?

  29. Good afternoon sir. Please I have original certificate but I can only get scanned photocard because I live in Abuja and schooled in Lagos. Would it be a problem during camp registration?

  30. Good evening, local man
My name on my NYSC dashboard was showing Simon-Anyebe Josiah Ofuowoicho instead of Simon-Anyebe Josiah Ofu-owoicho, I applied for correction of the name. It has been approved but now it’s showing Simonanyebe Josiah Ofuowoicho.
Please is there a way to correct it???

  31. Good morning sir
Please I want to ask if the call up letter released yesterday is just for single people sir? Coz most of us that are married have not yet seen our call up number sir.
    Thank you sir 🙏
