NYSC Updates Today (27 July 2026): Batch B Stream 2 Camp Date, Direct Posting, Call-up Letter, and Batch C Registration

Hello and welcome to another edition of NYSC Recap with Local Man. If you’re preparing for NYSC Batch B Stream 2 or looking ahead to Batch C Stream 1 registration, quite a few developments happened within the past week. Here’s a quick roundup of the updates you should know.

Disclaimer: This recap is based on personal research and analysis. Treat it as you will.

👉 NYSC has officially announced that the Batch B Stream II orientation camp will hold from 5th – 25th August, 2026. Also, call-up numbers have been released to many registered PCMs already.

👉 If you haven’t seen your call-up number yet, don’t conclude on anything for now. From experience, some PCMs will still receive theirs before call-up letters are released, so keep checking your dashboard.

👉🏾 Barring any unforeseen circumstances, NYSC call-up letters are expected to be released on Monday, August 3rd. Those who paid me for direct posting should also look forward to the outcome on that day.

👉🏾 As I’ve mentioned several times, there is no online registration for Batch B Stream II. The next registration will be for Batch C but there is no official update on that yet. Once there is, I’ll let you know.

👉🏾 If you’re hoping to join NYSC Batch C, now is the time to follow up with your institution on the mobilization process. Doing this early will ensure your details are correctly captured on the Senate List so you don’t run into issues during NYSC online registration.

👉🏾 As you prepare for camp, don’t forget to arrange the documents needed for camp registration because NYSC takes them seriously. If you’re not sure what you’ll need, check this guide.

👉🏾 If you need any of the medical documents required in camp, I’m available to help with the processing. Send me a DM.

👉🏾 If you haven’t ordered your NYSC kits yet, now is the best time. To ensure timely delivery before camp travel, Thursday, July 30, is the deadline for placing orders. You can contact Fola for quality NYSC camp essentials.

👉🏾 Finally, be extra careful during this period. This is when scammers become more active because many PCMs are eager to complete their NYSC preparations. Always verify who you’re dealing with and do your due diligence before sending money to anyone.

That wraps up this week’s NYSC recap. Keep checking back for verified NYSC updates, registration news, and other important information for prospective corps members.

NYSC Updates Today (21 July 2026): Call-up Numbers, Camp Date, Camp Preparation Tips, and 2026 Batch C Stream 1 Registration

1. Call-up numbers were made available yesterday for NYSC Batch B Stream 2. If you haven’t seen yours yet, there’s no need to worry. Keep checking your dashboard because more call-up numbers will still be released over the coming days.

2. The NYSC Batch B Stream 2 orientation camp will open on August 5. NYSC call-up letters will be available for printing from Monday, August 3.

3. Those who were posted to camp earlier but didn’t report can also look forward to that date, as they may be deployed again.

4. I wrote a comprehensive article on the list of documents you’ll need for documentation at NYSC camp. It’s worth a read!

5. This is a good time to start setting aside money for transportation. You don’t know where NYSC will post you, so it’s better to prepare ahead.

6. If you have a preferred state of service, it would be a wise decision to message Local Man now while direct posting is still available.

7. I can also help process the medical documents you’ll need in camp. No carry my moni go anywhere. 😄

8. Don’t wait until the last minute to buy your NYSC camp kit. Message Fola on 08160679062 to get quality camp kits at the best price.

9. For those who haven’t done NYSC online registration yet, you’ll need to wait a little longer because there is no official date yet. The focus now is on NYSC Batch C Stream 1.

10. This is the period scammers become more active. Don’t let desperation push you into their traps. If an offer sounds too good to be true, it’s most likely not true.

Disclaimer: This is based on personal research and analysis. Treat it as such.

2. There is still no official registration or orientation camp date for 2026 Batch B Stream 2. However, there are indications that August could be an important month for the next phase of NYSC mobilization. Once any official update is released, I’ll bring it to your notice.

3. Mobilization is also gathering pace across institutions. Many schools have started releasing their internal Senate Lists for Batch B 2026. I have compiled the institutions released so far here. If you are yet to be mobilized, this is a good time to follow up with your school.

4. The 2025 Batch B Stream 1 corps members will complete their national service this Thursday, 9th July, as announced in last week’s recap. Local Man wishes every one of them success in the next phase of life.

5. The Federal Government has approved major reforms to the NYSC scheme. The proposals are aimed at improving youth employability by introducing more practical skills, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and industry focused training into the service year.

6. The reforms will not take effect immediately because they still require amendments to the NYSC Act before implementation. For now, no commencement date has been announced, meaning the current NYSC system remains in place for serving and prospective corps members.

    Nerd is ashikwa princess kelechi
    Certificates ashikwa kelechi princess

  2. Good evening sir
Please the name on my NIN is different from the name in certificates will it affect my camp registration
    For example
    NIN Peter grace amaka
    Certificates Peter amaka grace

  3. Good day Sir, Please, I’m looking for a female corps member whose PPA is in Port Harcourt and needs accommodation around Adageroge/Miniorlu, PH.
I rented a house about two months ago, but since my NYSC camp is starting on November 4th and I may be posted outside Port Harcourt, I’m looking for someone who can take over the accommodation and refund me part of the rent
    . Thank you sir. 🙏❤️

  4. Innocent Nmesoma Chibuchi

Please sir I registered since September 9th and I haven’t gotten my call up number yet🥺is it true that they’ll push some of us that haven’t gotten to next year? Or everyone will likely go this year

    1. Yes, some registered PCMs will be moved to the next batch. It’s to early to tell whether that is where you belong. Keep checking your dashboard till next week Sunday.

  5. Good evening local man.
My statement of result and NYSC portal name arrangement is last name, first name and middle name while my certificate is First name, middle name and last name. Hope I’m good to go. I’m a UNN graduate and people are saying that’s the standard, I’m worried.

  6. Good day, please. I completed my NYSC exclusion registration, including payment, on 7 September 2026. However, my dashboard has continued to show “Exclusion is being processed.” My NERD status recently changed from “No student records found” to “Partial” after I completed my NERD registration on 6october. Please, I would to know know if any further action is required. Thank you.

  7. Good morning Mr local man.
I requested for name rearrangement on my nysc portal since the second day of registration for batch c but it’s still under review since then, I don’t know if this is normal sir and the only change I made was just removing hypen from my surname and replacing it with space as it is on my jamb result.

  8. Abdulwahab faizat omowumi

    Good evening sir
Pls I have one question to ask abt NYSC

As a married PCM going to camp for the first time, pls when it’s time for registration are they going to as ask for my nikkah pics or not ?🤲🤲

  9. Sir please I registered in September this year a late registration though. I didn’t receive my call up number and I really don’t want it to come out in November because I’m not ready yet. Are there chances that I can receive my call up number next year?

I only registered because I was told there might not be another registration this year again but I’m not ready to go to camp till next year

    1. You don’t decide when the call-up number should be released. You however have the choice not to go to camp when deployed, if it’s not a good timing for you. All you need do is to be patient for the next time NYSC will deploy you again.

  10. Pls, I want to confirm this from u: someone that did correction of name during NYSC registration but haven’t reflected can the PCM be among those that will go to camp on November or the name have to reflect in the PCM dashboard before call up number can be sent to him or her?

Secondly, what if the PCM received call up number and call up letter in this coming batch c2 and the name haven’t reflected what will the PCM do about it since it haven’t reflected and he or she is going to camp?

    1. Then name correction you applied for doesn’t stop you being deployed to camp.

If eventually you are deployed to camp and the correction has not been approved, it’s not a problem. They will fix it when you get to camp, as long as it’s a minor correction.

  11. Jamb carries 22 February 2005
    NIn carries 19 February 2003
    BVN 22 February 2005
    And my Neco same
But my real date of birth is 19 February 2003 and this is what I used for my university info
Tried using it when I was doing my Nysc registration online but it kept appearing the jamb date of birth
Would this affect me at the camp??
How do I sort it out pls

  12. Denyefa Enekorogha

Good Morning Sir, Hope you’re well? I really appreciate your effort and help thus far.
    God bless you Sir.

I needed some clarification regarding NYSC and Law School.

I registered for NYSC before the names were released, and I’m expecting to be mobilised for Batch C, Stream 2. However, I’m also expecting to be called for Law School around February, although we haven’t completed the Bar registration process yet.

Since the next NYSC camp is in November, I’d like to know what my best option would be if I’m called up before Law School starts.

Would it be better for me not to go to camp and defer(if it’s a possibility) my NYSC, or can I go to camp and later leave when Law School starts and continue my NYSC afterward?

Please, what is the proper procedure in this situation and what would you advise me to do?

Thank you so much for your audience, I really appreciate.

    1. Once you’ve begun NYSC, there is nothing like “leaving” for another assignment. I’ll advise you choose the one you want to do first and complete it before proceeding for the other one.

By the way, there nothing like going to camp to defer your service. If you’re not interested in going, then don’t go. It’s as simple as that.

  13. Good afternoon Local man. Please I need your advice on something.

I’m above 30 years, I’ve done Jamb Regularization and have gotten admission letter before graduation.

Is it wise to go back and change my age and go for service?
I’ve changed it in my NIN, but doing it in Jamb is hard. A lot of people want me to go for NYSC because, I look like I’m in my 20s, the stress is much.
I really want to go, but I’m scared of the risk and outcome in the future.

Please I will appreciate your advice on this matter. Thank you

    1. Even if you succeed in changing the date of birth on JAMB, the desired outcome won’t happen because it won’t reflect on NYSC portal. I’d advise you move on with your life and think of what you can do to improve yourself within that one year.

  14. Umar Muhammed Yahaya

    Local man,
    Good Day 😊
Please is there any possibility of opening NYSC registration portal this year again

  15. Evening blessings Local man, I recently realized my statement of result had expired so I took your advice from the vn in your WhatsApp channel and went to my school (UNN) and collected my original certificate. However, I noticed that my school doesn’t include the day of graduation, they only include month and year. I really don’t know why but I have a feeling NYCS might not be tolerant. What are your advices about this?

  16. Good day Local Man, I just recently graduated around July and registered for NYSC Batch C
I’ve done the necessary registration and uploads, just expecting call up number
I just wanted to ask if it is feasible for me to serve this year or the call up number will show before September 28

  17. Pls local man I have been hearing that call up number have been sent to my colleagues that register for nysc but still haven’t seen mine,
    pls what’s the issue

  18. Jaja Elizabeth Temaria

Good afternoon local man, I have gotten my call up number, but am so scared of being rejected in camp. Rivers State camp to be precise… I did OTM in my ND and business administration in my HND

    1. It’s not a problem. NYSC is not in charge of admission. If your school believes you should be given HND admission despite your course during OND, NYSC won’t have any problem with that.

  19. Hello local man
If someone is into content creation, will they allow the person access with his/her tripod stand and ring light in the orientation camp? I just want to know

Also, you made mention that they won’t allow us to bring laptops to the orientation camp, can we waybill it after the orientation period?

I would really appreciate your response

    1. Camp is not a holiday or resort. It’s a structured environment where you don’t have the liberty to do what you normally do. Your tripod and lighting is definitely not for that environment.

Yes, you can waybill your items to yourself after the orientation camp is over.

  20. Good evening sir, the name on my school certificate is Opeyemi Hellen Obafemi, while on NYSC is Obafemi Opeyemi Hellen , Do I need to do name rearrangement on NYSC dashboard?

  21. Hello local man good evening After my Nysc registration I enroll for my nerd clearance so I checked my nerd status on my Nysc portal is was showing pending….. so after my nerd was fully done after getting my nerd clearance slip I went back to check my nerd status on my Nysc portal it now showing failed pls sir what could have been the problem??

  22. Good afternoon boss.
Pls there a column about concessional deployment approval that’s showing in my dashboard, it has been showing pending since about 3days that I’ve registered now and I’m thinking it should have been submitted or approved by now or what do you think. Do I need to be worried??

  23. I have been able to complete biometrics and capturing and also create an account. But the website has not allowed me move past Step 1 since Wednesday. Once I press save and continue, it will process and show the page again but it won’t continue. It’s not showing error or anything, it’s just not loading to Step 2. I’ve re-edited my address and next of kin’s five times but nothing has changed. What do I do? Or is it the website?

  24. Thanks for your help. Your guidance really made the whole NYSC process easy. God bless you

The date on my waec certificate is not my date of birth. I discovered it when I did my house job. I had to swear an affidavit for the date of birth correction before I could use it for my documentation then.

Please do I still need to do the change waec DOB as seen on the NYSC dashboard?
Thanks for all you do Sir

  25. Local man, I am unable to create profile on NYSC portal, because of NIN name which I have corrected since November 2025. But NYSC hasn’t refresh the correction on their portal.
    What can I do?

  26. Please what about PCMs who are married and has already made changes in there NIN to reflect marital status. Tried the registration process today but it was not successful. The error message apart says, make sure the name provided is the same with the one in your NIMC. Please please how do I go about this sir

  27. How does revalidation work, I actually did it twice today and it just showed me my page back. Is that all or is there anything specific to do again?

  28. I’m unable to register to keep showing NIN suspended and it has been showing it since April oo, I went to NIN office for Capturing since that April and it has been resolved, trying to register again it showing NIN suspended again I don’t know what to do again

  29. My matric number say 2020 but we resumed in September 2021 and graduated 2025 please which starting year should we use

  30. So i checked my name on the senate list and i saw that my English name has been used as my surname. Will the name arrangement make it impossible to register?

  31. For nysc registration.
Is blood group and genotype required while filling the form
I’ve not done the test yet
But I know it’s a requirement for camp
I’m just asking about the registration

      1. Local man, Goodday. I was reading through a link you posted on your WhatsApp channel, about creating an account there at the NySC, then I read something about the name in our NiN and BVN should tally if not, our allawee might be delayed, so I noticed something while doing my online registration on Monday, in my NIN my middle name is Amaka while in my senate list/graduation list, my middle name is Faustina, and the correct one is the one is Faustina as the middle name is which the one in the senate list, so I want to ask if my middle name being Amaka on my NiN will be a problem for me

        1. That is a diffee person entirely. On a normal day, you can’t open a Nigerian bank account with such discrepancy. But like I said, the NYSC account opening process is very easy to create. And yes, there is a that your bank might force you to correct the anomaly in the course of using that account.

  32. How about we who already registered since April but are yet to receive call up number…
Do we have to reregister? Also does this NERD compliant thingy affect us?

  33. How much is it to register for nysc, I was asked to bring 20k, but somehow I’ve not heard this part in all my findings.
