When is NYSC registration starting?

Even though there is no registration date yet, the next batch for NYSC is 2026 Batch B Stream 1 which will begin on June 10 and end on June 30, 2026.

For heads up, it is always updated on the mobilization timetable as released by the NYSC. But again, the exact timing depends on various factors as explained in the NYSC calendar for year 2026.

🔊 NYSC Updates Today – Monday, 1st June, 2026

Happy new month guys and welcome to another edition of NYSC Recap with Local Man. Here are the highlights within the past week.

Disclaimer: This is based on personal research and analysis. Treat it as you will.

1. As earlier announced, Batch B Stream 1 Orientation Course will commence on 10th June 2026, while call-up letters are expected to be released on 8th June.

2. Call up numbers were released to more PCMs during the week. While many are still yet to get theirs or access their dashboard, some are likely to receive it within the coming days.

3. Meanwhile, the physical verification exercise for foreign-trained graduates will begin tomorrow Tuesday. PCMs in this category are advised to print their verification schedule from their dashboard.

4. In preparation for camp registration, PCMs must ensure their documents are complete and in order. Refer to this guide for the full list of required NYSC camp documents.

5. On a lighter note, an Arsenal fan who finally received his call-up number after waiting since November 2025 has vowed not to go for service with Batch B Stream 1. According to him, he will only revalidate when next Arsenal reaches the Champions League final.

    My school sent a wrong date of birth to NYSC.

    Though the mistake has been from my waec, but I have an affidavit of the correct one.

    I know nysc takes time to scrutinize date of graduation on statement of results and name spelling, I wanna ask if they take date of birth seriously at the point of registration… I don’t mind letting them put the wrong one on my certificate

    The Date of birth on my NIN is 2002, while the one in my School, Jamb and all other documents/certs is 2001

        The name arrangement on my WAEC and school Statement of result is; Anate Lauretta OGHENERUKEVWE
        And the name on my dashboard,Senate list and graduation list is; Anate OGHENERUKEVWE Lauretta
        I applied for arrangement of names since last month but the changes hasn’t reflected, it’s still showing “Is being reviewed” on my dashboard

        Please is this a problem?

      Yes, it’s the same batch. But the reality is that you don’t have a batch until NYSC deploys you to camp. What you’re seeing on your dashboard is the same for everyone who hasn’t been deployed yet.

    i want you to pls enlighten me on this issue sir
    i registered since april 2025 but i wasn’t mobilised until september but i unable to report camp due to some health issues, so this march i had to revalidation and also made payment but i haven’t see call up letter and i have seen other ones like call up number, green card and addendum… So sir what could be the problem? Or is it because i haven’t do NERD registration?

    note sir: i’ve done my registration since last year april and i’ve been mobilised once

    Please I have a serious issue at hand now, I registered since last year November, all my credentials are correct and including my NERD done, am from a poor family, so lucky for me I got a job as an IT / Maintenance personal in a hospital here in Lagos, so don’t want lose this job sir, so my aunty assured me she has someone that will help me work it to Lagos that I shouldn’t worry, so I started making my plans to do it in the hospital where I work, but only for my call letter to come out and I was posted to an entirely different state.
    Am so devastated now, cos I can’t leave this job, they can’t wait for me for a whole year, secondly they won’t employ a person just for me to return and they fire the person.
    So now I really need your advice, should I hold till when next I do remobilization and you help me work it to Lagos, I can’t lose this job my siblings depend on it.

    She registered in Nov ’25, just got her callup number now and she’s currently running a fashion program that will end on the 25th of April ’26.
    Now she’s confused what options does she have…. here’s the reason i messaged you, she’s saying will she be sent back home when she resumes camp on the 26th of April ’26?

    Sir, my question is the passport we are to use in opening account in camp and some other needful . What is the size of the passport or is it just like the normal passport?

    And also, the medical fitness certificate. Must it be a must from federal and military Hospital.
    What if it from state hospital
    Will it still be acceptable.

    Pls my brother registered for nysc around October or November last year and he got call up number and was posted to a state but he didn’t go
    So he decided to wait for the next batch which was in January but he never received call up number up till now
    Pls is there anything he needs to do so he can get a call up number in the next batch?

      Please Sir I am truly worried about my posting I register last year November and was posted same last year but didn’t resume because of my Bar final Examination last year December during the January posting my profile was lock I couldn’t access it but during this March online registration my profile was open for me to do Revalidation and my previous call up number and latter was removed I have been checking my profile since yesterday till now no call up number was given not even the previous old call up number

    Please I want to ask a question concerning school id card which must be taken to camp.

    Sir, the thing is, I have collected my original result and my school collected my id card and I don’t even have any photocopy left at home. Initially, I didn’t know they’d collect it if not I’d have done extra photocopies.

    Now, I don’t know how I’ll go about the camp registration without my school ID card.

    Please accept my sincere apologies for disturbing you.

    I was among those who registered for NYSC Batch C. During my registration, I noticed an error in the spelling of my first name on my dashboard, which I corrected from EzigOade to Ezighode. However, the correction has not yet been reflected.

    Also, I got married during the registration period and have uploaded all required documents, including my marriage certificate, domicile letter, and newspaper publication. My surname has been successfully changed from Okhokho to Okoro, which is my husband’s name.

    However, my first name is still incorrectly spelled. I kindly request your assistance in helping me correct it to the proper spelling: Ezighode.

    Is it the one I inputted while registering? Because for my Hnd it was just year I inputted while registering
    And the year I inputted for my ond isn’t the same year on my certificate

    I would love to join the batch B around June and not this A2
    But I registered now because they said there might be no fresh registration by then

    If I am given a call up number now can I ignore and revalidate in June?
    Or is it compulsory I go to camp once I get call up number

      You can decide not to go to camp if posted with this batch but you will have to be patient for NYSC to post you again. There is no guarantee it will be with Batch B Stream 1.

    The last fresh registration, during account creating, I had to disagree and not continue with registration cos my class of degree wasn’t correct and is still not correct
    So now that I’m trying to register, it said NIN used yesterday now it’s saying no account found

    I registered since 2023 but I didn’t go to camp.

    Followed your instructions on the blog and waited till this current registration
    Logged on successfully and I’ve been automatically moved to batch A,2026.

    I have some questions tho, I’d be glad if I could get answers from you;
    1. About the NIN issues, I hope we that haven’t logged in for years and just logged in to do revalidation won’t be affected.
    2. ⁠I heard that those who do revalidation are most unlikely to get their direct posting approved, pls how true is this?

    Goodday local man… Please I did my registration since 2023 but for some reasons didn’t report to camp all this while.. I don’t know how true but someone mentioned I had to redo my fingerprint capturing since it’s been a while but there’s no provision for that on my dashboard. Or would my fingerprints still be valid please??

    Supposedly I register with the upcoming registration because i don’t know if there will be registration after this one due to the upcoming election, and I decide not to follow the next batch if I am deployed with the next batch, until I am ready to go for service, hope there’s no penalty apart from revalidation that I’ll do.

    Will this affect me during profile creation and nysc registration ?

    Good morning sir, please I wanted to ask: I was mobilized last yr October both by Nysc and my school, is it still going to be valid when time for any registration comes ?

    Plus I have been trying to log in to the NYSC senate list Portal to see if my name is still there but the site has not been available since, even my school site as well. Plz Am I still safe? Or will I start all over again when the time comes?

    I want to start preparing ahead for registration and I wanted to correct my jamb LGA. The one printed on the paper that shows my university choices is anoicha north.

    When I logged into my jamb portal on Monday, I am seeing the correct one under personal details. Anoicha north is not there but the correct LGA. Is everything good or do I still need to correct it?

    Good morning Local Man, you are really doing a great job for us all i really appreciate that God bless you.! I was on my NYSC registration last year not until i found out that i needed to remove a name because it doesn’t tarry with my notification of results, so i stopped at thumb 👍 print in the registration i didn’t want to go further..! I have reported my case to my SAO in school and submitted the necessary things to her, she replied back to me today that NYSC should have done the removel of name by now, she then asked me if i have done my NYSC registration, I told her that i was on my NYSC REGISTRATION last year but i didnt complete it when i found out that the i needed to remove a name, she the said i should go and complete the registration.!Please what would i do next when the NYSC portal is opened for the next Registration

      You can continue with your registration when next the portal opens for registration. However, you must ensure the correction reflects on your dashboard before you go to camp.
