When is NYSC registration starting?

There is no official date for Batch C Stream 1 registration yet. For heads up, it is always updated on the mobilization timetable as released by the NYSC. But again, the exact timing depends on various factors as explained in the NYSC calendar for year 2026.

NYSC Batch C 2026 Registration Guide

While waiting for the portal to open for the next online registration, itโ€™s smart to get ready ahead. The first thing you should confirm is that your name is already on the NYSC senate list. Only graduates whose names appear there can complete online registration.

After that, you should go through the NYSC online registration requirements so youโ€™ll know exactly what to do once registration begins.

NYSC Updates Today (27 July 2026): Batch B Stream 2 Camp Date, Direct Posting, Call-up Letter, and Batch C Registration

Hello and welcome to another edition of NYSC Recap with Local Man. If you’re preparing for NYSC Batch B Stream 2 or looking ahead to Batch C Stream 1 registration, quite a few developments happened within the past week. Here’s a quick roundup of the updates you should know.

Disclaimer: This recap is based on personal research and analysis. Treat it as you will.

๐Ÿ‘‰ NYSC has officially announced that the Batch B Stream II orientation camp will hold from 5th – 25th August, 2026. Also, call-up numbers have been released to many registered PCMs already.

๐Ÿ‘‰ If you haven’t seen your call-up number yet, don’t conclude on anything for now. From experience, some PCMs will still receive theirs before call-up letters are released, so keep checking your dashboard.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ Barring any unforeseen circumstances, NYSC call-up letters are expected to be released on Monday, August 3rd. Those who paid me for direct posting should also look forward to the outcome on that day.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ As I’ve mentioned several times, there is no online registration for Batch B Stream II. The next registration will be for Batch C but there is no official update on that yet. Once there is, I’ll let you know.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ If you’re hoping to join NYSC Batch C, now is the time to follow up with your institution on the mobilization process. Doing this early will ensure your details are correctly captured on the Senate List so you don’t run into issues during NYSC online registration.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ As you prepare for camp, don’t forget to arrange the documents needed for camp registration because NYSC takes them seriously. If you’re not sure what you’ll need, check this guide.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ If you need any of the medical documents required in camp, I’m available to help with the processing. Send me a DM.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ If you haven’t ordered your NYSC kits yet, now is the best time. To ensure timely delivery before camp travel, Thursday, July 30, is the deadline for placing orders. You can contact Fola for quality NYSC camp essentials.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ Finally, be extra careful during this period. This is when scammers become more active because many PCMs are eager to complete their NYSC preparations. Always verify who you’re dealing with and do your due diligence before sending money to anyone.

That wraps up this week’s NYSC recap. Keep checking back for verified NYSC updates, registration news, and other important information for prospective corps members.

4. I wrote a comprehensive article on the list of documents you’ll need for documentation at NYSC camp. It’s worth a read!

5. This is a good time to start setting aside money for transportation. You don’t know where NYSC will post you, so it’s better to prepare ahead.

6. If you have a preferred state of service, it would be a wise decision to message Local Man now while direct posting is still available.

7. I can also help process the medical documents you’ll need in camp. No carry my moni go anywhere. ๐Ÿ˜„

8. Don’t wait until the last minute to buy your NYSC camp kit. Message Fola on 08160679062 to get quality camp kits at the best price.

9. For those who haven’t done NYSC online registration yet, you’ll need to wait a little longer because there is no official date yet. The focus now is on NYSC Batch C Stream 1.

3. Mobilization is also gathering pace across institutions. Many schools have started releasing their internal Senate Lists for Batch B 2026. I have compiled the institutions released so far here. If you are yet to be mobilized, this is a good time to follow up with your school.

4. The 2025 Batch B Stream 1 corps members will complete their national service this Thursday, 9th July, as announced in last week’s recap. Local Man wishes every one of them success in the next phase of life.

5. The Federal Government has approved major reforms to the NYSC scheme. The proposals are aimed at improving youth employability by introducing more practical skills, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and industry focused training into the service year.

6. The reforms will not take effect immediately because they still require amendments to the NYSC Act before implementation. For now, no commencement date has been announced, meaning the current NYSC system remains in place for serving and prospective corps members.

  1. Good afternoon sir
    How are you doing
I can’t I used the express certificate during camp registration

  2. Good afternoon, sir
    How are you doing?

There was a mistake in my name, and I corrected it using the nysc portal, but till now, it’s still showing my name is being reviewed
Is there anything else I can do, or is it just for me to wait till it is corrected? Because I heard i can’t go to camp if my name isn’t corrected

  3. Please, the phone number on my BVN is not same with the one on my NIN?
Will there be any issue with it?
During registrations in camp like Bank opening.

      1. I also want to ask another question Sir.
My NIN Slip is laminated. Will it be an issue ? Or can I just go ahead and get the Card to avoid stories later on!

  4. My school sent a wrong date of birth to NYSC.

Though the mistake has been from my waec, but I have an affidavit of the correct one.

I know nysc takes time to scrutinize date of graduation on statement of results and name spelling, I wanna ask if they take date of birth seriously at the point of registrationโ€ฆ I donโ€™t mind letting them put the wrong one on my certificate

  5. Good morning local man
Pls I want to ask some questions if you can share light on it sir
I have registered since November and I got posted in April but I didnโ€™t report there due to the fact that my direct posting didnโ€™t work so since camp is over what do I need to do and whatโ€™s my fate for the next batch
    Thank you sir

  6. Anate Lauretta

    Good evening Local Man
    Iโ€™m a PCM awaiting batch B stream 1
Pls I want to make an enquiry
The Date of birth on my NIN is 2002, while the one in my School, Jamb and all other documents/certs is 2001

Please is this a problem ?

      1. Thank you for your Swift response Local man
        Please I have another question

The name arrangement on my WAEC and school Statement of result is; Anate Lauretta OGHENERUKEVWE
And the name on my dashboard,Senate list and graduation list is; Anate OGHENERUKEVWE Lauretta
I applied for arrangement of names since last month but the changes hasnโ€™t reflected, itโ€™s still showing โ€œIs being reviewedโ€ on my dashboard

        Please is this a problem?

  7. Good afternoon local man, please I want to ask a question
Those batch that registered March and April,is it the same batch

    1. Yes, it’s the same batch. But the reality is that you don’t have a batch until NYSC deploys you to camp. What you’re seeing on your dashboard is the same for everyone who hasn’t been deployed yet.

  8. Good evening local man
i want you to pls enlighten me on this issue sir
i registered since april 2025 but i wasn’t mobilised until september but i unable to report camp due to some health issues, so this march i had to revalidation and also made payment but i haven’t see call up letter and i have seen other ones like call up number, green card and addendum… So sir what could be the problem? Or is it because i haven’t do NERD registration?

note sir: i’ve done my registration since last year april and i’ve been mobilised once

Thanks so much for your time sir

  9. chinonso emmanuel

Please I have a serious issue at hand now, I registered since last year November, all my credentials are correct and including my NERD done, am from a poor family, so lucky for me I got a job as an IT / Maintenance personal in a hospital here in Lagos, so don’t want lose this job sir, so my aunty assured me she has someone that will help me work it to Lagos that I shouldn’t worry, so I started making my plans to do it in the hospital where I work, but only for my call letter to come out and I was posted to an entirely different state.
Am so devastated now, cos I can’t leave this job, they can’t wait for me for a whole year, secondly they won’t employ a person just for me to return and they fire the person.
So now I really need your advice, should I hold till when next I do remobilization and you help me work it to Lagos, I can’t lose this job my siblings depend on it.

  10. Good afternoon Local man

    On my Nerd slip
It’s “Olusegun Silas BABATUNDE” that is there
    On my school certificate
    It’s “Silas Olusegun BABATUNDE”

    It’s “BABATUNDE Silas Olusegun.”

    Silas is my middle name

  13. Wonderful morning to you local man
Sir, my question is the passport we are to use in opening account in camp and some other needful . What is the size of the passport or is it just like the normal passport?

And also, the medical fitness certificate. Must it be a must from federal and military Hospital.
What if it from state hospital
    Will it still be acceptable.

  14. Hello sir
Pls my brother registered for nysc around October or November last year and he got call up number and was posted to a state but he didnโ€™t go
So he decided to wait for the next batch which was in January but he never received call up number up till now
Pls is there anything he needs to do so he can get a call up number in the next batch?

    1. Eruejerien Prince

      Good afternoon Sir,

Please Sir I am truly worried about my posting I register last year November and was posted same last year but didn’t resume because of my Bar final Examination last year December during the January posting my profile was lock I couldn’t access it but during this March online registration my profile was open for me to do Revalidation and my previous call up number and latter was removed I have been checking my profile since yesterday till now no call up number was given not even the previous old call up number

  15. Please I want to ask a question concerning school id card which must be taken to camp.

Sir, the thing is, I have collected my original result and my school collected my id card and I don’t even have any photocopy left at home. Initially, I didn’t know they’d collect it if not I’d have done extra photocopies.

Now, I don’t know how I’ll go about the camp registration without my school ID card.

  16. Good afternoon Local Man

Please, can I take my P.O.S terminal with me to camp? For withdrawal ๐Ÿคฒ
    Is it allowed?

  17. Good morning Sir,

Please accept my sincere apologies for disturbing you.

I was among those who registered for NYSC Batch C. During my registration, I noticed an error in the spelling of my first name on my dashboard, which I corrected from EzigOade to Ezighode. However, the correction has not yet been reflected.

Also, I got married during the registration period and have uploaded all required documents, including my marriage certificate, domicile letter, and newspaper publication. My surname has been successfully changed from Okhokho to Okoro, which is my husbandโ€™s name.

However, my first name is still incorrectly spelled. I kindly request your assistance in helping me correct it to the proper spelling: Ezighode.

Thank you very much for your time and understanding, Sir.

  18. Hello
    Good morning Local man

  20. David Ozioma Eke

    Hello good day Local man
I would love to join the batch B around June and not this A2
But I registered now because they said there might be no fresh registration by then

If I am given a call up number now can I ignore and revalidate in June?
Or is it compulsory I go to camp once I get call up number

    1. You can decide not to go to camp if posted with this batch but you will have to be patient for NYSC to post you again. There is no guarantee it will be with Batch B Stream 1.

  21. we that registered last year november but didnt get call up number. going for this batch “A 2” do we need to do NERD reg

  22. Omobolade๐ŸŒน

The last fresh registration, during account creating, I had to disagree and not continue with registration cos my class of degree wasnโ€™t correct and is still not correct
So now that Iโ€™m trying to register, it said NIN used yesterday now itโ€™s saying no account found

Please can you guide me on what to do?๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

    I have some questions tho, Iโ€™d be glad if I could get answers from you;
    1. About the NIN issues, I hope we that havenโ€™t logged in for years and just logged in to do revalidation wonโ€™t be affected.
    2. โ I heard that those who do revalidation are most unlikely to get their direct posting approved, pls how true is this?

Supposedly I register with the upcoming registration because i don’t know if there will be registration after this one due to the upcoming election, and I decide not to follow the next batch if I am deployed with the next batch, until I am ready to go for service, hope there’s no penalty apart from revalidation that I’ll do.

    Thank you sir

  36. Aliyu Muhammad Idris

    Good morning local man
I have an issue which Iโ€™d like to ask u n seek guidance on it
The DOB on my nin is different from the one on my jamb details
Will this affect me during profile creation and nysc registration ?

I want to start preparing ahead for registration and I wanted to correct my jamb LGA. The one printed on the paper that shows my university choices is anoicha north.

    1. You can continue with your registration when next the portal opens for registration. However, you must ensure the correction reflects on your dashboard before you go to camp.
